The weird marks on the top of the pages are NOT mold btw, they are coffee, but they looked greenish when I applied the filters to brighten the pictures and it kind of fit since this is Riddler stuff lmao.
Alright, so this will be a lengthy one:
The first picture is an AU I thought about as I was doing the very neurotypical activity of spending hours upon hours doing research on clown history, this time in particular, Jester history, so, I thought about a Jester Edward Nashton that works for the Wayne family and is very loyal, but, he's one of the so-called "natural jesters" (basically they'd keep a pet disabled person for their own entertainment at all times, very fucked up) and, all tough he's known for his smart and quick thinking, he eventually slips up and says something deemed abhorrent by the nobles, who then kick him out and leave him with nowhere to go.
Once he is n the streets he uses his abilities and charisma to garner the attention of the people (now using a Venice mask in order to not be found out by the people that would stop trusting him as a leader and by the Wayne's that would already know him and give him an even harsher punishment) and use his new-found influence them to push a revolution so he could take revenge on the Waynes!
(this doesn't happen in Italy btw, he knows about the masks because Jesters tended to be well off, so he had opportunities to travel before).
