Description
This step by step and carefully explained tutorial covers basic eye/face coloring, detailed hair and fur, etc. (mostly basics on how to do realistic drawings)! PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO DRAW THE HUMAN ANATOMY OR REALISTIC FORMS, but instead is a tutorial for how to cg or color realistically.
Since many people keep asking me if this works on photoshop versions such as 7.0, CS, CS2 or CS3, the answer is yes. If this works in ps elements then it should obviously work on higher versions.
Wow! I see my tutorial being linked on all kinds of sites other than da. Thanks guys for the over 5,000 favs and over 100,000 views
Tools: Wacom Graphire 2 4x5 tablet, photoshop elements 3.0.

If you do decide to use this tutorial for any of your drawings, crediting is highly appreciated. Also please do link me to it so that I can see! Have fun and enjoy.

Its a really great tutorial! I have looked for this. Other digital painting tutorials do I never really get, but this one, it helped a lot! And one other good part of this tutorial, it dont explain to the very bottom, like what type of brush you used, that makes the one who uses the tutorial to use their own brain which is is well, the main part of learning, use your brain. Very good!

There is something that looks like a post-it note peeling, above where it says background. If you hover about it, it should say create a new layer. Or you could go to the link on top that say "Layer", then push "new"...well it's like that on my ps Hope that helps. ^^

Hi! Yumix! Thanks for sharing your amazing art, actually I have been trying to learn that but I have a few problems here....you mentioned in your tutorial that you used APE (Adobe Photoshop Elements)... so I try the APE 7 but I wonder how I can make hair strands using PSE. I set up my brush according to your tutorial but how can I make strands? What tool do I need to use? Of course in Photoshop, I used to use the Pen Tool and then apply the stroke from the Air Brush Soft-Round, but how do you make it in APE? Thank you so much, your reply is highly appreciated.... Good Job!
