changed a look a bit, I like this version way better ;u;
This is all grown up Melody.
I got an idea that Mel has alternate egos. (I mean, daughter of Chaos Lord and Element of Kindness? Plus Flutterbat)

Her eye color changes as well. Magenta for her chaos state and cyan for her other ego.
Melody's appearance changes dramatically when she's in her "chaos" ego. Her colors become darker and duller, her hair gets raggedy and her wings become more batlike. Her personality becomes dangerous, unpredictable and rash. Discord liked this a lot better, but it was harmful for Mel and those around her. The longer she stayed in chaos, the more extreme it became

Her other ego (I don't know how to call it) is much lie her neutral state appearance wise, except her mane is lighter and covering her face. She's withdrawn, indecisive, and overall miserable. She's afraid of everyone and doesn't trust herself with anything. As I said before, she's extremely unhappy in this ego.

The only way to keep these two egos in balance is music. When Melody sings or listens to music, there's perfect harmony between them. Her eyes are both cyan and magenta, and she looks like the picture above.
