Description
Love wolves? Help stop senseless wolf slaughter at [link] or [link] It's easy and simple, just sign a petition or donate some money to save these beautiful creatures from death. How many of you knew I was going to put them all together like this? Hehe, I planned this out from the beginning which is why I couldn't add wolves of metal, light, darkness, etc like people suggested.
I am finally done with the wolf series! WOOT! Now if enough people request it, I might print some as postcards to sell and donate the profits to wolf protection programs.
The Chinese symbol at top left means Sky, top right means Earth, bottom left means forest, and bottom right means Ocean/Sea. The three characters at the top left corner is my Chinese name which means colorful warm feeling XD so corny...
1. Wolf of Fire [link]
2. Wolf of Water [link]
3. Wolf of Lightning [link]
4. Wolf of Woods [link]
5. Wolf of Clouds [link]
6. Wolf of Ice [link]
7. Wolf of Time [link]
8. Wolf of Space [link]
9&10. Wolves of Moon and Sun [link]
Enjoy and please help out, don't just say "it's sad that wolves are dying" because it's the action that counts.

People who poach wolves have no sense, I once researched some stuff about it a few years back. A lot of reasons people kill them make no sense. Like some hunters have quoted 'they kill are the elk, save the elk' Elk are wolves nature prey, humans don't need to hunt elk to live, while wolves do. Farmers complain 'that wolves kill cow, sheep, ect.' well if the hunters weren't killing of the wolves, we wouldn't have this issues, no would we? Lots of people see wolves are furocious beasts, when really, they are for the most part calm gentle and caring. The take care of a family together and hunt as a team providing food for each other as a pack. Many people don't even know the REAL wolf pack ranks. Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Omega, is BullSh**. Real wild wolves had been studied and few scientists, now know the real way a wolf pack it form. Usually, a wolf will leave its pack at the age of two in search of a mate. Once the mate is found they will breed and have pups. The mother and father led the pack just as how a normal human mother and father will guide their child along to adulthood. Once the pups reach the age of one, the Parents have another litter. The older pups help the parents take care of their younger brothers and sisters and learn a bit of parenting techniques. Then once the first litter is two years of age they set off to find mates, and the second litter, now the age of one, will help the parents take care of the next litter. The process repeats till the parents die. Idk how it works with bigger packs.
Point is, most people are very under educated on wolves. I wish I could do something to help, but I have no money, all I can do is spread the word.

Actually, Wolves are over hunting Elk and Carribou. they're also hunting livestock on farms and whatnot. I agree, wolves are beautiful creatures. they are also very dangerous creatures. some people must live off of carribou and elk. when wolves over hunt them, those people lack what they need to survive. that is why I don't agree with your statement, "Alot of the reasons people kill them don't make sense. Like some hunters quoted, 'they kill are elk, save the elk' Elk are wolves natural prey, humans dont need to hunt elk to live..."
Yes, in fact, some people DO need elk to live.

Where I live it actually costs a lot more to hunt elk or deer then to buy food at the store because of gun license and tags and such. And like I said at the begining of my post, this is from knowledge of research from a few years back, like 2005.
And further more. Livestock death just returns back to the fault of humans. With us hunting the same game as them and truthfully being quite overpopulated as a species, as well as the destruction of their habitats, have caused the wolves to hunt off farms in order to survive.
If people honestly have to hunt their food to survive then they should of done better in school. At least where I live that makes sense.
And it's impossible to say wolves are over hunting. Animals instinctively only hunt enough to survive, they don't hunt food and waste it.
The population balances of wolves and elk are supposed to decrease and increase with time. When the Elk population is low the wolves are high, when the Elk population is high the wolves are low. This is because when wolves 'over hunt' the Elk food becomes scarce. The prey animals alive are the strongest and smartest. So then the weaker of the wolves will die out giving the Elk population time to reproduce. Those more skilled Elk's genes will pass down to their offspring. And then with more Elk the wolves population will increase again and around and around the circle goes.
So wolf poaching won't solve this 'issue' but only make matter worse for the entire ecosystem.
Places like yellow stone national park benifited from the reintroduction of wolves. Before wolves the Elk were eating the aspen saplings so new ones couldn't grow back in. They were also leaving the sides of river and stream bare of vegetation making the river hot and causing a decrease in the fish population as well as smaller animals like frogs and beavers. Which in turn effected their predators.
It's not our job to handle the balance of nature, ALL animals were created to have a purpose and we should leave it that way.

exaclty. don't people realise if they kill off one species it can upset the entire balance of nature? you kill all the wolves, elk with become over populated and eat all the plants, making it hard for other animals to live. that actualy happen to yellow stone national park before, they brought wolves back in and fixed it
