Description
Aaron Nicholson was already one of the Kingpin's best men before volunteering to undergo genetic manipulation in an attempt to create super-powered soldiers for the organisation. The procedure seemingly failed when Aaron displayed no changes, but he soon discovered that wasn't the case. His body proved capable of temporarily manifesting the powers needed to survive whatever situation he found himself in, making him the Answer to any problem. He continued to work for Fisk until one of their plots left him trapped in an incorporal state after his life force was accidentally absorbed by the heroine Dagger. His body was eventually restored by Doctor Octopus, though the two quickly proved incapable of working together and soon came to blows. Since then the Answer has continued to work among numerous criminal organisations, recently seen as a member of the Hood's supervillain gang.
