Since I know I'm not going to get around to colouring this anytime soon, here's an early sketch idea I had for Ch. 6

"There was Nate! His back was to Pinstripe, a measly stack of poker chips by his elbow. He had the sweat of someone whose luck had suddenly and unexpectedly taken a terrible nosedive. There were other people in the room too. A doe-eyed wallaby in a long-sleeved baby-blue dress and pearl earrings was innocently shuffling a deck of cards next to a high pile of chips. Who does she think she’s foolin? Pinstripe grimaced. Any pro could see she dealt with too well-practiced a hand. A slight shuffling and another girl appeared. A cream and brown possum in a red halter top curled around Nate’s shoulders, murmuring comfortingly “I’m sure you’ll win it all back this game!” While she did so, she subtly slid a mirror out of her pouch, showing Nate’s full hand in clear view of the Wallaby. Ah, and there was the slight-of hand under the table as the Wallaby swapped a card from her sleeve with the deck. From his crouched position, Pinstripe had the perfect view."
