Ta-daa! You now have all of the basic landmarks for the main features of a human figure. Note some of the points of the diagram above; there are places where some of the proportions coincide, such as the wrists being even with the level of the groin, the longest fingertip landing at about mid-thigh, same for the elbow joints and waistline. And if you use just the oval potion of the head, you'll find that this setup gives you the standard of 7 1/2 - 8 heads tall.

Note that this is just a very, very basic setup; there are some adjustments that can and should be made, which I'll get to in the next part.
