I remember reading (I don't remember where though) that Ashley was 15 years old or something like that, so I wanted to draw her more as a teenager than the habitual loli she is in almost every fanart. Also, in the american version of her song, she seems a loooooot edgier than her japanese self, so I based myself on that for the facial expression. Also, one possible inspiration is that comic strip (omegamodecomic.tumblr.com/post… ) (I personally don't find it either well-drawn or particularly funny, but I liked Ashley's reaction), where Ashley's annoyed by others singing her song, so I like to imagine her being ashamed of her song (As I am with my drawings).

Ah, and I decided to put Wario, Jimmy T. and the alien (I think his name was Orbulon) because... Well, they looked fun to draw. And except for Orbulon, they are.
