Recently acquired the Vintage Beast Wars reissue of Cheetor. Pretty fun toy, even if beast mode articulation is crap (the forelegs only move for transformation). The Kingdom one will be better on that score when I get my hands on it, but there's an appeal to the vintage molds. I like the paint choices - green cheetah eyes and bright orange robot eyes is the ideal compromise in my book.

And the tradeoff to Kingdom Cheetor is that he requires not only upgrade kits but modifications to said kits in order to have Cheetor's proper arsenal. Because the 3P add-on designers have, in yet another display of incompetence, messed up both weapons: the gut gun is designed to store in the wrong spot, and the rump gun is not only missing the rump panels.... it fails to integrate the tail.

This is, of course, not an issue on an original-mold Cheetor. What is an issue, however, is that the ill-conveived retool to the hinges for the beast mode head still hasn't been reversed. So like every use of the mold from Takara Tigatron onward, he's stuck being unable to fully transform because his beast mode head can't tuck in properly.
