Costume TF RP! (Including TG)The scenario: A giant simulator is installed downtown that will estimate what your costume is supposed to be and slowly or quickly changes your body to become that character, a change that sometimes involves a lot of strange sensations. Also strange: it is not just a computer program, it actually alters your body. But the simulator has it's own world it teleports you to (is it real or not?) so don't fight the system!
If you want to alter your costume you can simply use the command < revert > and you will go back to your last saved state (which hopefully was your original form) and you can take off the costume, change into a new one, etc. You can also make up other commands. For example, < holdstate > might stop you mid transformation from costumed-you to transformed you.
Anyway, that's the concept. Just post your idea or first post, I'll reply to everyone for at least a couple days. Feel free to ask questions!

I'm not familiar with the current pokemon stuff at all. I'm familiar with a ton of random stuff, but to say that I've watched a lot of anime would be misleading. Fullmetal alchemist, gurren lagan, death note. I dunno there have been too many to list, but not as many as most people probably.
Yeah we can do that. Let's see, partial MC, is that like, not a memory wipe, but still start having memories of being her and stuff?

Funnily though, the character I chose above is from over a decade ago (though the artwork is from the recent remake).
I see, I wanted to be sure, for reference, since I think it'd be better if you're working with something you're more familiar with. ^^
Partial MC, I guess is kinda like...he gets her personality and possibly her memories, but still remembers his original identity. Kinda like a personality change rather than full-wipe.

(yeah I watched the show when I was 12 and I'm 29 now, so that's probably why haha. and playing th egame I have played only the red version and that partially, pokemon stadium for 64, and seen a lot of references to it over the years, but that's it)

Well, she's very bouncy and energetic, but has a somewhat mysterious aura to her, due to her association with Ghosts. In fact, she can supposedly communicate with Ghost Pokemon. She also believes in the bonds between Trainer and Pokemon, and all that stuff. Well, this being Pokemon, I think that about sums it up.

Well, this was something new...I had heard a lot about this new "simulator" that opened up in downtown. My friends just wouldn't shut up about it, in fact. Supposedly, you brought a costume, and the simulator there would "change" you to fit the costume better. My friends being cosplayers...yeah. Supposedly it could also generate costumes for you, if you didn't have them available. Probably cost extra.
Still, after being egged on by them, I decided to give in. Shouldn't hurt me, anyway. So, I go into the building, which didn't seem all that impressive from the outside, and walk towards the counter. "Hello?" I ask, looking around to see if I can find a clerk or someone. Only see plenty of costumes hung up on racks or in boxes. "Anybody here?"

The attendant comes out of the back, wiping his hands. He's a regular teenager who looks kind of uncomfortable in his own skin, but he also is confident behind his job. "Hey, umyou are here for the day pass or just the hourly?" He points to the sign on the desk that indicates that rates are the same for costumes within or without the simulator. You can see the simulator in the back. It's a huge cylindrical chamber with a sliding door and a little stair up to the opening. Around it are changing areas, benches, lockers, and cubby holes. The sign shows that lockers, costumes, bathroom breaks, etc are included in the fee.
If you are paying hourly, you pay after the fact. If it's for the day pass, you can choose to pay before. The selection of costumes outside the simulator is vast, but inside the simulator the machine will use recombinant AI to find whatever you prefer the most. The simulation is state of the art, funded by the National Science Foundation (supposedly) and perfectly safe.

"Hmm..." Well, this was an interesting choice, and my friends never mentioned it to me. While I was a bit wary of this, they did give me the option of paying after the fact...but what use would be a costume for just an hour or so?
"I guess I'll take the daily pass, then." I say, as I reach into my pockets and take out my wallet. I take the amount shown on the sign, before going back to thinking for the moment. Sure, there were a lot of costumes out here, but that simulator there sounded...intriguing. Especially that "AI Function" to see what fits me the most. Since I wasn't even sure myself what I'd go with, and seeing how I wasn't going to go around looking for over an hour until I was satisfied..."I'll also use the simulator, please."

He nods and takes your money, giving you a receipt. "alright, come with me" he walks to the simulator and walks in.
Inside it's simple metal with a plus sign in duct tape on the floor. "you stand here and the door will shut and you'll enter
the simulation. The voice will guide you through it. Do you have any questions?" He is a bit effeminate, but also confident
talking about his simulator.

Well, this looked...much more simple than I thought. Then again, technology can be deceiving these days. "Huh...well I guess that would be all," I say, as I place my hand to my chin, thinking. Well, the instructions seemed easy to follow, but I guess I was a bit curious about a certain...detail. "Ah, one more thing: are there any limits to the costumes available?"

He shakes his head, "honestly? no, the other day I was mary poppins. And the day before that I was a penguin..." he blushed and scratched his head. "yeah no limits"

"Huh...that's interesting." And indeed it was. I mean, a penguin, really? Well, there was only one thing left to do, in that case. With a confident look, I walk up the stairs and into the chamber, turning back one more time towards the clerk and nodding, giving him the signal to start. "Let's do this!"

He gives you a thumbs up. "enjoy"
The chamber goes dark and then when the lights come back on, the chamber floor is all that remains. You are in a vast blue plain (or plane?) with no features. The horizon has a glow, and the sky is black, with some strangely brightly colored stars.
"Welcome" says a roboticized female voice. "Please select character"
Costumes slide out of the plane. As you walk in a direction, they also move toward you at an exponentially increasing speed, allowing you to simply walk through thousands of costumes in seconds. You can adjust this exponential travel by putting your arms back for faster, and putting them at your side for more normal walking.

"Wow...this is amazing!" I mean, holy- this was just a simulation...but the amount of detail in the sky, and all these costumes! It was almost breathtaking. I walk around, looking at tons of costumes; I even recognize plenty of them from various shows and games I've seen! I try using my arms as per instructed, and lo and behold, the costumes seem to move towards me even faster; almost too fast, in fact. I put them back at my side and they slow back to normal. "Incredible..."
However, looking at all these costumes...it was gonna take me a while to even sift through this! Then again, there was that AI function...might as well give it a try! "Computer," I say, looking towards the black sky. "I would like the AI to determine my preferences."
(btw, should I write the transformation, or would you write it, or both take turns...?

The choices narrow to a couple hundred, but then again and again until there is just Phoebe from pokemon. Her costume is shown as well.

Huh...that's an odd choice. I mean, sure, I kinda liked Phoebe. She was one of my favorite characters from the Pokemon games, despite her brief appearance, and I did like her design as a kid. But...using her costume? It was a simple blue bandeau, with matching blue bottom and a flowing blue sarong with a Pokeball print on it, as well as a pair of flower ornaments.
B-But I was a guy! How would that work?! As I stood there, though, I couldn't help but feel more and more curious about it...if what the clerk said was right, then maybe...Although somewhat hesitant, I reach out and touch the costume.
There's an immediate flash of light, and...it's gone. I look around, and see nothing. It was entirely empty! "W-What's going on?" I ask, before I notice something out of the corner of my eyes. I bring the hand that touched the costume in front of me, noticing something odd. It looked...smaller, somewhat daintier. My fingers seemed longer, with longer and manicured fingernails. Even stranger, my skin tone seemed to darken to a rich tan right before my eyes! "W-WhAT's hAPpeNinG tO-" I cover my mouth. That wasn't my voice! I mean, it sounded kinda like it; but it was also several octaves higher!

You feel your toes are free as your shoes have been removed, and your legs feel nice and breezy. What hair you might have had on your legs is quickly retreating upward, leaving smooth, tan, and oddly soft skin behind. You notice a little anklet materializes around your ankle. As the hair retreats up your leg, it hits your crotch, where you feel the sensation slow down. You notice that on one side of your body, your leg is bare, but the other side is still wearing your clothes from before. The other foot begins to transform and then your hair, and the gentle transformation continue up your leg to your crotch again. Except as this leg changes, the blue cloth unfurls and covers, wrapping around you from the waist down. As it slides into place, your pants are wiped away like a windexed smudge. You feel so free in your lower half.

I had to admit, this was kinda freaky...but at the same time, I couldn't help but feel a bit excited at these changes. I was transforming to fit the costume; I was becoming her! After most of the changes to my lower body are done, I pick up one end of my sarong dress and begin playfully twirling it around.
A smile grows on my face, as I watch my arm take on the same tanned tone as my hand, losing all body hair and becoming smooth. Soon enough, similar changes begin happening to my other arm. "Wow...!" I say, as I balance myself on one leg, almost stumbling to the ground by doing so. "This is amazing!"

You feel the changes tighten around your groin. The tightness releases, and you feel like you are much softer and smaller down there. There is another tightening, and your waist thins, and then the release comes again. This tighteing and releasing comes in waves in your trunk and groin, and you feel changes inside, but you can't put a finger on what it is. You feel so free though, and you feel a tightening in your behind and then a release. And then a swelling sensation as your skin expands, tightening, then releasing.

I can't help but giggle in a much more girly voice; all these changes...it was like my entire body was tingly! I peer down and notice how my shirt seems to be slowly retreating upwards, while my sleeves have become much shorter. As they do, I notice my much thinner waist, taut and toned. I giggle again, hugging my own body and twirling around in place, humming the classic Pokemon battle theme.
As I do, however, the soft tan reaches my shoulders, which crack down to more feminine proportions. Ah, they feel so good! I continue twirling around in my tippy toes, feeling the gentle breeze on my legs, before stopping in one swift motion in a pose similar to Phoebe's artwork, throwing my hands to the side. I must have looked ridiculous! I let out a loud laugh at that thought, as I feel a pressure coming from my hips...

Your hips feel like they are pushing against your hands in a gentle pushing motion, like a baby chick pushing it's cracked shell apart. It feels strange as your organs inside are being moved to and fro, making room for internal girl parts. You feel your crotch soften even more, and then with a gentle pop, your gonads retreat inside and your junk tightens smaller and smaller, which is only mildly uncomfortable, and with a pinch, you flower as a physical girl in those regions, taking only a few seconds to fold things correctly. Your pants only had dissolved to the point wehre you are now wearing a little bikini bottom, thankfully, otherwise you would have been naked!

Once that tingling feeling returned to my groin...I let out a small moan. But soon, it was over, and I patted down below just to confirm. My face turned to one of joy once I realized that, indeed...I was a girl now. I swung my new hips left and right, loving the liberating and empty feeling around my groin.
I giggled once more as torso slimmed down, becoming softer and tanned, as my shirt now barely only covered the top part, changing color to a more blueish tone. My sleeves were all but gone by now, and the loose garment only barely held itself around my chest, completely strapless. I placed my hands over my chest, feeling it become more sensitive. "Oh, here they come!" I say, excited about the next change.

It's grown so sensitive...as I cup my chest in my hands and feel it expanding under my touch, I try to hold back a few moans. My voice is definitely a girl's now...Thankfully, their expansion ends soon enough, and I stare at my modest bosom with pride.
However, something wasn't right...everything suddenly became blurry! I frown, as I take my glasses off...and marvel when my vision is a perfect 20/20 without them! "Wow...awesome!" I say, before giggling as my glasses suddenly dissolve into nothing. Although I couldn't see myself at the moment, instead of my usual brown eyes, I now had icy blue ones, just like Phoebe! And at the same time, the soft tan crept up my neck, and into my head...

You feel your skin softening and changing as it moves up to the back of your head. Parts of your head that are touched by it begin to change your hair color, styling it as the skin moves. it feels like foam, but there isn't any wet feeling with it. Your forehead and ears begin to become tan and you feel your forehead shift back and shrink a little, your eyebrows being tugged upward a little. You feel the skin on your face tighten slightly, and smooth out. The tanned skin moves over your eyelids and you feel your lashes grow, your eyebrows begin to arch gently upward in a very feminine way.
Simultaneously, the skin has covered your neck, and you feel your adam's apple shrink a little, matching your voice. YOur neck thins and becomes more delicate.

Mmm...this feels much better...the changes are almost done, and I can hardly contain my excitement. I raise my arms and clench my hands into fists as I await the finishing touches.
My lips pucker up for a moment, as they puff up slightly, while my nose shrinks down to a petite button. My chin softens to a delicate curve, as my cheekbones rise to accentuate my cuter face. I bring a hand to my face to feel the changes...it feels so soft and smooth and ooh! "Hehehe!" It tickles a bit! Even my hair has changed, as I feel bangs touching my forehead where before it was a short crop. They're even tickling the back of my neck!

You get in and the capsule lighting goes down, becoming dark. Soon the lighting comes back up, but you are in the forest. There are a few bamboo here and there, and there's a shinto shrine nearby.

I look around and then walk to the shrine. "Is this what I'm supposed to do?" I ask, hoping for an answer.

You see a search bar appear, allowing you to simply search for what you want. As you enter letters, millions of costumes come into view, shifting, sorting, and narrowing down.
I search for Holo and click the first result.

It materialises from the visualization you saw and it falls to the ground in front of you. Some cute pointed dog ears on a hair band, a kimono, and a fake tail with a strap.
