Character art by Ken-the-Eagle

Age: Late Fifties
Ability: Sturdy

"Mother Bird". "First Sage". "The Other Chief".
"Headmistress".
Eunice has had a lot of titles and nicknames over the years, all of which she carries with pride. She has never been a leader of Whisper Falls the same way that Barley or the other Chieftains have, but everyone knows her name and what it is she does. Ever since moving to Whisper Falls, she pursued her position with the sort of classy attitude and fierce determination that made it impossible for anyone not to at least notice her getting down to work. Strong-willed and with a voice that WILL be heard, she became the leader of the Sages when it became clear that her mastery of leadership and learning would be the perfect fit for the position.

Though her steely wings might be cold to the touch, her heart certainly isn't. Some might even call Eunice a family bird. Nobody is sure if she ever had children - she and her husband never did while they lived in Whisper Falls, anyway - but part of her notoriety in the village comes from the fact that she is able to hold conversations with just about anybody. It took her forming relationships with a lot of Pokémon to get to where she is now, and those friendships wouldn't have lasted if it was all an act. If you know Eunice, she certainly knows you too.

How she talks:
"Oh, hello! How have you been? ...Oh, of course, you were only a baby when we first met. I know your mother; she worked in the school until a few years back when she decided to teach you at home instead. You've certainly grown since then! How is she doing?"

"Are you all right? Don't worry, we are with the Duoneuma guild. We're here to help. Just stay behind me and hold on to my leg and you'll be safe. Can you tell me your name?"

"So long as you're willing to learn, I'm willing to teach. You may be having trouble because you learn better in a different way - writing is only one part of it. Are you better with pictures? ...Yes? In that case, imagine this section of the equation here as a Golduck reaching the end of a pond. He doesn't want to come out just yet, so what does he do? ...Turn! Yes, that's right. And then..."
