Description I took this eye out from a piece of a portrait [link] I am working on and then did some more modifications to it. I highly recommend any portrait artists to go into extreme detail at least once, it might drive you a bit crazy but it's worth it for what you learn.

Have a listen it's great!

This is 100% digital painting, using various skin texture brushes etc. The eyeball and the lashes are done just using the 'basic' photoshop brushes. I used the pen tool for the glasses frame.

I felt like want to cry when I saw this lol. Maybe it's because of the tear (and it looks sooooo innocent)... I really love the details and I felt kind of warm just by seeing this and at the same time, sad. Wonderful work!

Very detailed and looks great! I need to take your advice and try a highly detailed drawing. How'd you make the reflection in the iris?

Thank you I put in a scaled down image into the iris on the bottom left and the rest is just a white brush. I did add a zoom blur on the circular reflection as well.
