So Dune as in big worms?.. "The Spice must flow" Dune? House Harkonnen would have fallen faster with Samus killing the emperor's Sardaukar warriors, If that isnt the reference there is some nice inspiration for fan fiction.

While I am not too fond of how rail thin Samus is here, this is still one of the coolest, most badass, and original Samus armor concepts I have ever seen. Love it when people do unconventional takes on characters.

The combination of low saturation and sketch lines makes it look unfinished. However, I like emotion on her face, but her body doesn't give out much information. Even though I know this isn't your aim, while looking at it I just miss the pose to express something. Now she's just leaning? Or is she tired? Maybe just looking on someone.. I think I overdid this, but hell, I overanalyze everything so what. With great pose saying something there's much more glance at design. Would love to see a full detailed piece :3

That is a fascinating armor design, and I especially like the multihued look on the highlights and mist. I'd say on the whole it looks more pleasingly "Metroid" than a lot of the recent official games, but then, I would. Still, good stuff.
