Description
Tonight is the full moon of November called the Mourning Moon in Pagan culture. I made this artistic interpretation of the Mourning Moon back in 2019. The reason why it's called the Mourning Moon because it represents the time of cleansing, in which we have to let go of the bad times and habits that can wear us down and move forward to have a better future while making a fresh start in everyday life.This is the perfect opportunity to not let anything hold us back and give ourselves the motivation to work hard on our goals. I'm doing the same on my end.
Purple is the color of mourning to my perspective. As the term "mourning" being used for the name of the moon in November, this would connect with a tradition in which a person mourns the lost of someone they love so much. After mourning, they would let go and move on with their life.
