Description Location: The Tower of Midnight; the Castle of Illusion
This was the second time in a month that I found myself wearing a white dress. The cut was similar to the last, but this time soft material came from the front and tied behind my neck. My hair was in that natural twist, this time a silver chain wrapped into it.
"Come on, tell me who it is," Erica brushed at the end of my hair. I just laughed, and did not answer.
"What is his name?"
"It's Luc."

She dropped the brush, hands shaking.
'What have you done Master Lucifer? How did you corrupt such an innocent mind?' Slowly she bent down to pick up the brush, all the while remembering the words she had managed to coax out of the Princess which had been used to describe him; how he was kind, compassionate, was so deep and understanding.
'I'll accept he is the kindest of his race, but to use those words to describe him, I could not. He plans for his own gain, though I know not what he is planning, I know it will benefit him. To humans he is but evil.'
"Does he wait in the Great Hall?" the Princess now stood up. Her holly eyes showed concern, but she could only look back with fear for her.
"Yes," she answered.

Location: Unknown
"Once she has, leave."
"But Master?"
"I said leave. This castle will be stormed with troops out to kill me, out to reclaim the Princess. They will kill anyone else in this castle."
"You just want servants when you get back from having executed whatever this plan is, don't you?"
"So I am still a heartless creature of this night to you?"
"You can't be anything else in all of our eyes."
"You have one last order, one last order whilst at this castle before you return to the Land of the Silver Moon."
"No, you can't make me influence her."
"You are not to inform her of the force that is coming to retrieve her."

He shut the book, placing it back where he had stored it. As he left the room he shut the door, making his way to the Great Hall. Already he could sense the presence of many having entered his domain.
"Hold them Xilef." Coming to the great doors, Lucifer opened just one, slipping inside. He paused once he had done so. Above him hung the dome of sparkling stars and a full midnight sun. It's red radiance shone, but didn't affect the lighting of the room. The room was fully lit, but it wasn't the night sky he looked at. His gaze rested on the far wall, his lips curling into a smile. He turned as the door opened.

I paused momentarily as I came to the great double doors. Somehow there was a great aura to this night, as if something was meant to happen. I pressed a hand to the door, I could feel his presence on the other side of the door. My head fell against the wood, my eyes shutting. For a brief moment I tried to collect my thoughts. Ever since I had come here all of my thoughts had been muddled, but now, things were becoming clear. My eyes snapped open, and I pushed out with both hands so the doors would open at the same time. As I stepped inside I first noticed Luc, dressed up smartly, and then my eyes turned to the far wall. A large square adorned the surface, inside a tree with branches entwined.
"That's…" I stalled, perfectly aware of what it was.
"Yes?" he smiled.
"You're the one that smudged it?"
"I was expecting more of a 'wow'," he began to look at his feet. Walking over I took his left hand, comparing the size of his thumb print to mine. It was slightly larger than my own, the right size for the smudge.
"You smudged it."
"Yes," he softly bit his lip, "I didn't realise at the time, I apologise." He took my hand, his right hand moving to the small of my back. My heart was beating quicker, I was so close to him.
"You're so beautiful tonight," he whispered in my ear. I could feel all the heat rush to my cheeks. Fighting my normal senses I looked up, and completely stopped.

For the first time those holly green eyes looked directly into his own. He felt captivated by those eyes, falling into their depths. Some people said that vampires charmed their victims, but he was the one who felt like a victim as he looked at her. Somehow the lustful beast inside felt quenched by the fact that she had looked him in the eye. Taking his hand from the small of her back he took her fumbling left hand and placed it against the flat of his shoulder, replacing his hand on her back. Her mouth opened to say something, but nothing came out. The blood was running through her cheeks, and for a brief second he cast his eyes away. He could feel each beat of her heart.
"Luc," her tongue finally stumbled, "Why am I really here?"
"So soon now," he whispered, "I will tell you soon." In his castle he could hear the footsteps of others, the voices angry against him, the blades that were intended to pierce his chest. All this he could sense as he danced there with her, knowing the intent of all whom had stormed his castle. So much he knew of what was happening now, but so little he knew of what the near future held. Only one thing seemed so fully ascertained,
'The end will come tonight.'
