dude. Gotta ask. What do you use for sculpting your pokemon? I wana try sculpting. I know you probably need Xacto Knifes to carve. But it looks fun to do. Trying to experience myself with the crafts and stuff. I already tried beading and jewelry making and crocheting.

You mean tool wise? i do have an Xacto knife and a few little razorblades for clean cutting, i recommend using 'shaper tools' too if you can find any, these come in different shapes and sizes so if you're planning on doing small things then i'd advise getting smaller tools. Use them for smaller detailing and finishing. I have a rolling pin in order to make perfect flat pieces, rolling pins work better than 'squishing' with your fingers and also reduces fingerprints. I can take a picture of the tools i have and send you them if you really want to, i don't mind.
Thanks for your curiosity and i'm flattered that you asked me ^^ If you need any more help i'd be more than happy to assist.

I wouldn't mind that. I saw one of your pics that you used xacto knifes. I usually sometimes use it to cut out little drawings c:
And your quite welcome. I love your pokemon sculptures, btw. Aaaand what do you use as clay?

Sure thang. Yeah i put that there for effect They're extremely useful though when being precise. Do you mean what type of clay? I use soft polymer clays that i can easily bake in a home oven such as Fimo and Sculpey (these are the 2 most popular). Both are literally the same sort of clay and both have the same texture more or less but Sculpey is a little bit more pricey imo. There are different styles of each of these brands such as sparkly glitter clays and translucents but they both come in a wide range of colours.
I don't know how new you are to this so maybe try buying a few simple colours and designs to start out and see how it goes, if it doesn't go to plan the first time you can always squish it back up and re-make it! then try designing something and really make it your own. Before you do any baking though, be sure to check the baking instructions as baking this clay for too long can give off harmful gasses, i use a fan assisted oven and i bake my clay for 30 minutes on 130Β°C (266Β°F).
SORRY FOR THE PARAGRAPH-NESS. I GET SO CARRIED AWAY. >.<
PS Thanks for the compliment, it's really appreciated. *smiling like a maniac* ;3

Its okay. The more I know, The better. Im a noob. I really want to experience myself with more art stuff. >:3 And sculpting is something I have never done yet. I've done it in the past but I barely remember. I made when I was in 8th grade like a flower bowl thing. And i still have it!
Thank you for telling me how to sculpt o u o
Fimo is probably I find in a craft store. I believe I've seen it.
