It is indeed, you have to download Indigo, the program, then SKindigo which is the sketchup plugin

It's harder than i thought to use. Or it's easier and im thinking too hard about it. Can't seem to find out how, in sketchup. I add a pre made material from the materials section and use it on say.. a sofa.

Just ask for help on the forums and/or read some beginner tutorials

Yeah i was reasding the beginner getting started one, the one how to make simple interior and carpet. But my carpet didn't turn out correctly, even after doing it correct, so i gave up. Trying Kerkythea atm now lol. Looks slightly easier tbh.

Can't help you with sketchup as I'm using C4D.
Also, try not to begin with advanced stuff like carpets lol

But it was in the get started tutorial
But yeah, i could do it, if i knew how to actually add the nice looking material. In the modelling software, or in the renderer (indigo) ?

In the modeling software...
Make sure you installed SkIndigo and then double click a material... there you can edit its settings.
Also read the tips about materials at [link]

Ah yeah,i got it working now, doesn't look that good atm, but i guess with practice i will figure out what, that Bump, Displace etc etc will do with the drop downs. And Mesh etc,
Dunno what they all mean atm.

Its really not THAT hard...
Bump mapping... well... bumps the mesh.
The "mesh" basically is your thing you are building with SU.
Bump mapping adds the illusion of detailed geometry while there isn't such.
Check the brushed metal in the material database, that brushed effect is a bump map.
Displacement is the same - except it really modifies the mesh.
Just try it
