Nope, though I have met people from there before.
I live in Minas Gerais, on the interior of Brazil. Our state is known for its cheese, mountains and waterfalls. In culture, I would say that we are basically the brazilian version of Texas.

Though I myself do not fit the local culture. One of the many reasons I want to leave the country.

I'm not! There is no ocean in Minas, it's all mountains.
Although we do have a lot of rivers.

But yeah, I never left my city. Traveling to the sea costs money, which I don't have to spare. I'm not eager to go the sea anyway, I prefer cold places, like the south.
(I also love the southern brazillian accent <3)
