It's a great hobby, isn't it? I've been unfortunately sweated out of my train room for the summer (the downside of an attic layout) but I'm anticipating a grand return in another month or two once the mercury drops a bit.

Welcome to the Real World - A Final MessageHello all,
It's been a pleasure being on DA for these couple of years. As of late I haven't done anything at all with this save for getting some commissions, and I thought I'd explain myself to the best of my ability and hopefully shed some light on why this account is, and will most likely continue to be, dormant.
I've been under a serious amount of stress for a long time. God knows how long actually. I was once seriously active on here, but now it dwindles every day. Not for DA, but for my future and present as an artist. A lot of reality checks have been put in place in my life, and as a consequence, all of my inspiration, motivation, and skill pertaining to art is diminishing to nothingness. Somehow picking up the pencil or stylus and drawing a few lines is difficult to do. Maybe it's because I'm a rather terrible artist. Maybe it's because I see what I could be and cannot. Perhaps it's the stress and gloom that is enveloping my life and my time, drawing me away from any art I wish

I have also been on sabbatical for the last six months... I just happened to be on dA when I got your message. (I also realized that I completely missed your journal that you put out two weeks ago; I've been on dA since then but I haven't checked my messages in a month. Four wisdom teeth out? Ow. I remember when my brother had a few teeth taken out and he was quite out of it for a day or two. Good luck with your recovery!

Yeah, I've been pretty crazy. The main reason why I haven't been on much is because my laptop is in the shop... still... it's been two and a half weeks and counting, and I probably won't have it back until late this week.
School has been demanding a lot from me lately. I am honestly struggling to survive right now, the workload is that heavy. Not much time for art and writing right now, unfortunately.

Well the good news is I have my laptop back, so I can get back to work on my projects! (I do have a very intensive art project that I have started on, which may take me a few more months to really finish. It's a media I have never worked in before!)
On the down side, I have a big exam in a couple of days that I REALLY need to study for, so there will be a slight delay before I get back to writing Silver Slate. (Chapter Seven is almost done, if I remember correctly.)
