Heeey! It's been forever, hasn't it? I've been pretty good, all things considered. Haven't been on Roliana since 2.0 disappointed me greatly. What's life looking like from your end?

Hahaha haven't been on Roli in ages. I try and go back from time to time to chat to old friends still there, but after two messages exchanged I always forget to go back u_u

I keep thinking I should go and give away my inventory to people who'll actually use it, but am too lazy xD

Or not even give it away, but spend it all on art, but too lazy to go and commission because I know I'll have to keep going back and checking up on the artists hahaha xD

On my end, life's been ok! Starting my third year of uni, and kind of overwhelmed by the work.

I haven't written in a long time, but I went back on Gaia recently and was hit by a new surge of inspiration

I think everyone I knew on Roli is long gone. I think I saw Goat on Aywas, but I was too awkward to ask xP

I considered selling my items for art since I have some pretty rare ones, but I honestly don't (or didn't) see much of quality the last time I was there. And not to be full of it, but I can do a lot of it myself now that I can actually draw people! XD

Whaaat? I thought you were in uni all those years ago! Weren't you the one who told me to take philosophy courses? Or did your high school offer them? Bah, either way, I'm in my third year too! Unfortunately, I have a bone to pick with one of my profs, but it's all been great up until now. French major, how about you?

Thanks for the compliment! I've found a ton of support from some new fandoms I frequent and they really helped keep me going. I haven't been on Gaia in ages though, what's new?

I've been stalking your gallery for a time (before I lost my username and stopped coming in). But yeah, your art is just so amazing! I've always loved it (of course) but you have progressed a lot! I'm glad you've found a good support group!

I think I'm going to start learning how to draw (for the 5th time ... don't want to give up this time)! I've always admire other artists for too long ... time to take things into my own hands and admire myself!!! looool [/crickets shirp]

Gaia's meh, but they have a pretty active writing shop subforum so I hang out there when I go on. Found a pretty good patron who pays very very generously so that's always good

I popped on Roli to see how it was going. HOLY SHIT! The site is D.E.A.D. Read up in some forums that apparently the admins jumped ship or something ... people just haven't been seeing them around LOL!

I probably am the one who told you about the Philosophy classes! But that's because it was a mandatory class for 12th grade at my high school hahaha  

I've been studying English and American literature, civilizations, phonetics and translation (English to French and the other way around). It's been okay. I can't say it's my life's passion. It's the final year before our undergraduate diploma so we can feel that the teachers' expectations are so much higher. Rather intimidating, hahaha!!! ;

Ah? French major, eh? Tu parles Français alors?

Well you know, I just might be open to doodling up a gift for one of my old friends if they so desire, what with all those compliments and all

You really should start doing art! I'm totally 100% up for giving you critique and helpful links to tutorials and books and all the encouragement in the world~ I can't promise you'll become the next [insert famous artist], but it'll save you the effort of getting commissions all the time.

Ah, don't you love those people who tip generously and keep coming back? I found someone like that on Aywas, but I screwed up their last commission and I'm not sure if they ever forgave me for it... I'm working on it though and I'll get their money again soon we'll be buddies again :3

My sister still lurks around Roli and yeah, the admins are long gone. Apparently some items from the summer event still aren't programmed and nothing was done for Halloween. Not to mention the games still don't work, which is one of the reasons why I left. Gotta have my daily Tetris! xD

You're taking translation too? I'm in my second translation class, going mostly from English to French this time around. It's getting easier, mais je suis pas une etudiante d'immersion comme tout les autres dans mes classes donc c'est un peu plus difficile pour moi. For sake of adding in some French to say yes, I do speak a little French on occasion, though my profs would appreciate it if I spoke more in French during class xD Us lazy students just discuss in English and throw French in whenever we're arguing about the translation. Apparently though I roped myself into giving a presentation to some friends about verb conjugation since I'm the only one who took core French in high school and that's all we learned |D

My favorite movie is Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. I loved all the books and I just had to see the movie when it came out. I've never seen any of the Transformers movies, though.

Glad you like it. I don't watch very many movies, but animated ones are my favorite. Have you seen The Lion King in theatres? I thought it was really well done, considering they had to pull apart all the art.
