Alfred was waiting patiently for his fiancee to get home after a rather interesting conversation with a certain incubus. His hair was wet,the blonde locks sticking to his forehead, and he was shirtless because he had just taken a shower. He had been a mess after some rather unholy activities with said incubus. When the devil finally walked through the door he said "I know you cheated on me." His voice held all the betrayal and hurt he was feeling.

The addressed devil merely froze in place, flinching as he closed the front door. He wanted to leave. He wanted to just run away and never look back. What he did was horrible. It was unforgivable. But he still meandered toward his fiance, guilt obviously present on his face. "I... I'm sorry," was all he could say, biting his lower lip as he looked away. He wanted to explain why he had to- But it was useless. He cheated on Alfred. And that was that. Even if there was a good reason as to why he did it, the fact that he did it was still present.

Alfred was trying very hard not to cry, tears built up at the corners of his eyes but he didn't let them fall. "I..I get it. Don't worry." He stood and began walking to their room, not looking at Bitter at all. "I'll grab my stuff and leave."

"W-Wait!" the devil followed suit, shaking his head as he grabbed the other's hand. "No- Th-That's not why I did it!" he frowned, still biting his lip. He wanted to cry. And yet he didn't. It hurt. Seeing Alfred so sad like this.

He still didn't look at Bitter. "I know...I cheated on you. It's okay Bit. I get it. You don't want me anymore." It was happening just as the incubus said it would. Bitter no longer loved him. The tears ran freely now down his face.

"N-No!" Bitter shook his head, now just hugging Alfred from behind. He didn't want him to leave. He didn't want to be alone again. It was horrible, having no one to turn to. "P-Please don't leave... I-I didn't do it to hurt you, I swear!"

Alfred stood there silent. Part of him wanted to die and cease to exist. Another part just wanted to forget all this and just hug Bitter back tightly. "They why?" he whispered.

Stifling a sob, the devil buried his face in his lover's back. Voice muffled a tad, the ginger sighed. "H-He said he'd go after you... I-I slept with him b-because I didn't want him to hurt you..."
