Hi,
I'm a bit unsure about your use of color, but your black and white work seem very interesting to me. Even if it not technically perfect we can see you have some understanding of contrast and composition. It swarm with detail and it make it very pleasing to see.
However there is a big turn off for me, and that is the quality of your pictures. You should really think about investing in a scanner. Even a cheap one from a cheap printer would make better quality image than your out of focus photo.Β

Thanks I like the use of ink as a medium and I feel like using only pure shades (I don't consider black, white, or grey colors) has brought me a greater understanding of contrast than what I has before inktober. I'm glad you like it and I personally love your style it is calming has beautiful perspective. Β
I'm self taught in composition so I'm glad to know that you like it because I've never had much feedback on it.
Do you have any comments on how I could improve my composition like pointing out flaws or anything that doesn't cost money? It would be greatly appreciated especially considering that your use of composition with perspective is really pleasing to look at.
However a scanner is not an option for me and I'm grateful that I can upload images to the internet at all.
I'm a 17 year old college/high school student; any money I have goes to tuition and graduation fees and savings for an apartment. If I have money for spending it is for school (additional required payments for unlisted supplies) and blankets (it is normally about 45 degrees Fahrenheit in my house during winter because the furnace is held together with duct tape and we can't afford to run it for more than a few hours a week). I make my art as stress relief as I started college in my sophomore year of high school through the dual credit program and my home life is something I wish to get out of (my father drinks too much). I am lucky to have a cellphone and am grateful that my mother cares about me enough to want to know if something happens to me on my daily commute so I can call her if there is an emergency and I wouldn't think of asking another thing from her. Also If I ask for anything my father will have 'words' with me and that is the last thing I need in my life.
