One day, Laura was surfing the internet. She was just looking at her favorite pages when all of a sudden a new tab opened up. She was confused, since she didnβt click on any link whatsoever. The tab didnβt show anything, just a white screen. When she tried to close the tab, nothing happened. She kept pressing the X to close it, but instead the tab turned to full size. Suddenly, the white screen of the tab turned completely black. It wasnβt only the tab screen that turned black, all the button and everything else on her screen did the same. Even her mouse disappeared off the screen. After a little while, she decided to turn her computer off because she simply thought it was broken. She made a big mistake. Out of nowhere, a full screen picture of her mother appeared on the black screen. As she looked at it, she could see that the pictures eyes slowly started bleeding. The longer she stared at it, the more frightening the picture became, until the picture resembled death itself. The speakers of her computer suddenly let out an extremely loud screaming noise. Laura covered her ears, but it didnβt help a single thing. She tried to leave her room, but the door didnβt budge when she tried to open it. The screaming noise just kept getting louder until it was too much for herβ¦
Lauraβs dead body was found later in her room when her dad returned home from his workβ¦

you don't have any XD but if you want to set up a donation pool, go to 'Edit Page' at the top right corner and click and drag the 'donation pool' widget to your profile

Well, i suggest joining lots of groups. to do that, go up to the left hadn corner by the 'deviantART' logo and mouse over the little arrow. a pull-down menu should pop up and you will see a bunch of little icons. click on the icon that says 'Groups' next to it. That should take you to a screen with a search box and a list of groups. type a subject into the search box ('vocaloids' for example) and a list of groups matching that subject will appear. then, click on the group name and it will take you to that group's page. look for a button that says 'join group' and click on it.
and thats how you join a group

Adoptables are character designs that people sell for either really money or points (i prefer points). People adopt adoptables instead of creatinga design of their own. You can do pretty much whatever you want with it (so long as you follow the creator's rules). usually you cannot re-sell adoptables. To sell an adoptable, pretty much all you have to do is post a picture of it and have the price in the artist comments and see who bids the highest

some times there won't be a join button.... if that happens, leave a comment asking if you can join. then somebody will probably send you a request to join (that is if the group is accepting new memebers...) and to use emoticons, you just to this : milk: but without the spaces. see look
