But I don't really know a ton about it yet. I'm just looking forward to it, seeing as the last Disney-Pixar production is one of my favorite movies of all time. Really wish I'd seen "Coco" in theaters.

I like "Star", but I haven't properly watched it. I'm planning on doing that soon-ish. I've only seen a few episodes and loosely kept track of what went on in the series.

To be honest? It's disappointed me. So I don't know if I can really say I'm a fan anymore, but I'm a fan of gem designs and the idea of the gem species, at least. I wish I could say I still liked SU genuinely.

Ok. I see. I do agree that the show had been a bit lackluster as the later seasons went by but honestly the recent season 5 finale WAS SO GOOD and really made up for it in my opinion.

It all fell apart once the "Rose is Pink Diamond" twist was revealed, in my opinion. It was predicted in season 1, which...if your major plot twist is that easy to spot, you should rethink it if you really want it to be a "twist". But then....Homeworld disappointed me, and after watching through the mess of a finale, I can say that I am personally not impressed. I had such high hopes for this show. The finale's events should have been paced better....the entirety of the plot should've been paced better. Now Rebecca Sugar's spiel about "there's no filler in SU" seems like complete bullshit because a lot of the Beach City episodes probably should have been cut and worked around rather than being left in. They should've trimmed the fat, as it were. I understand Sugar probably wanted to emphasize the human element of the show, but I've seen movies that take way less time that do a better job with fewer characters and less time wasted.
I dunno, I have a lot of conflicting feelings about this show, ha ha. Like I said, I had high hopes.
