Hmm, your life and stories intrigue me a great deal. More than most. I too am in the military, Canadian though, and I am also very anti-Bush which you also seem to be. Anyways, it's hard for me to discern from reading your journal excerpts etc, but I think you have a book coming out? A book about your Iraq experiences, or does it involve other tales? I will watch you.

thanks, it was an experience, I'm glad I went and even more glad that I came back in one piece. It helps me to share the pictures and talk about it so I can put it behind me. I see some of the other guys that were blown up and I don't think they are going to be able to get past it. They don't have an outlet.

And it must be said, you are someone I'd love to talk to. For the following reasons: I was born in Portland, Oregon but then moved to Seattle and then to Belmont (but, MA not OR); Bone Machine is my fave Tom Waits album, particularly the opening track "The Earth Died Screaming"; Vonnegut = unparalleled verbal artistry;.... and as for the content of experience in your photographs, the raw human emotion and unfathomable reality that is all too shocking and depressingly real, long story not-so-short, you sound like a really fascinating person.

I live on the top of mount tabor on the end of Belmont. I started a publishing company with a couple of good friends, and as much as we drink and have a good time the first book is finally done. We have a book release party at the GoodFoot on Stark.
I wrote the book, but the guys say its good. I emulate Vonnegut, Bukowski, Palahnuik, Celine. All the pessimistic optimists. I love duality, that's why I paint too. My paintings are at P-TownArt on Deviant, my photos and some of my writings are FinMacool on deviant.
Sorry, I'm not really self absorbed. I would like to talk to you more.

also, we saw the oregon group of deviants, they have pictures on the site, it looked like a high schooler convention, we're not like that, we actually try to put art up on the site instead of pictures of our friends and shit, we do that too, a little bit, but we're more into the art scene I think. we do oil, ink, charcoal, we have a small publishing biz, and we're getting into music. we're thinking of starting a different little group, but are unsure right now.
