You seem to have a pretty good grasp on things already: adding faves, adding art. You should join some groups. Good keywords on your artwork and aggressively promoting your work in groups are the keys to popularity on here. Not just any group though; focus mostly on groups that cater to what you do.

Thank you so much for the advice. I’m glad you mentioned groups because my sister (Nevermore1849) and I didn’t really understand the whole group thing. Also, we have a question that might be dumb, but – if a piece of art fits into more than one group for instance, do ppl post it in both groups? Or is that a no-no. Sorry if that’s a stupid question. Thank you for your help!

Only post stuff once, but keep it to one category. Fanart trumps digital art, traditional art, and literature, but not artisan crafts. devID trumps everything if you want it to be your icon. If I ever see a miscat in your stuff, I'll let you know.
