That is true, I always liked drawing since I could hold a pencil but unfortunately didn't start taking art seriously for the longest time, partly because I was often somewhat discouraged from an art career. Sometimes I feel underskilled for being 21 but I know that's dumb, it's all about time and effort/good practice you put in!
I'm studying game development now on the creative side and aspire to be an artist and writer (my 2nd equally big passion). <3

Oh yeah.^^ I write high fantasy novels (none finished yet though) and poetry, occassionally other things that come to mind like short stories or something. 
I'd like to illustrate and publish my own poetry collection one day and of course the novels, perhaps I get to draw maps and characters to show a bit in the books, that'd be totally awesome, ah THE DREAM!

Oh, I definitely want to!^^ 
But it can be tough to juggle university and all the extra art practice, writing, the household and a bunch of other things to keep oneself physically and mentally healthy, so I often have to sacrifice one for the other.
I will work my hardest to make it all happen though, tysm for your support. <3
One day when I'm more skilled and there's a chance I'm not totally going to ruin them I'll draw my novel characters and stuff for sure!

And ahh I have to thank you again, that you'd even go out of your way to introduce others to my art that's so sweet and means so much especially since my following is still very small. ^-^ <3 
That's of course not why I do art but noone can afford to eventually focus on it full-time when nobody is interested in what they do since then they'll have to put a lot of time into something unrelated to support themselves which also slows down improvement. :/
