Hmm... There are some (arts and design) studios that work with wallpaper patterns. You give them your design and they make a wallpaper for you. If it's profitable, you can make more for selling.

The prints are made on paper to cover walls (wall-paper? I'm not quite sure if it's the right word in English). I don't know who prints them, but a quick search on Google could help us.

I do a scrappy outline of the Pokémon in Adobe Illustrator and then transfer it into Adobe Photoshop to shape the image and make it sharp and attractive. Also the textures are done in Photoshop as well!

Ah, I see.

I tried using Adobe Illustrator at one point and it was really confusing since I was so used to Photoshop( I currently have CS5 ).
What's the difference between Photoshop and Illustrator anyway?

The real difference is that because Photoshop works with pixels you can't resize the design without it pixelating.

Illustrator is based on vectors, which gives you the freedom to scale your design to any size.

So if I wanted to sell posters, I could resize the image simply without pixilation!

Pixelating is where the pixels are stretched and the image looks fuzzy and low quality. I love the questions ! ha.
