Well, hahaha university has absorbed most of my entire life, but I have enjoyed this brief break of a week to do a lot of drawing, I had lost my mojo for drawing, but now's back baby!

I'm doing good. I just finished up my freshman year of collage majoring in Music Technology. It's awesome, I get to record my own songs and everything. Court and I have also been working on Sweet Beat a lot more and we've been selling at a bunch of different conventions.

I haven't read through 3 all that much, but if only for the images I guess that it goes a little bit more into the relation ship between Alessa and Claudia. Like I said, I haven't really ready through it yet.

Actually, scratch my second question. Just saw on Silent Hill Wikia that it said the SH 1 novelization has the Good + ending, which Cybil survives in.

Yeah, I noticed that with 2 and I remember you saying that before. But I must say I'm glad that the SH 1 and Movie novelizations only have 3 chapters, since that means we won't have to wait as long for them to be fully translated. (although I am a bit sad 1 is so short since I LOVE it) The only thing is I hope that doesn't mean anything was left out or anything. But since the chapters are long hopefully not. And oh wow! 3 (possibly) has five? That's great, I'm glad it's going to be longer, since I LOVE Sh 3.

Also, two more questions (sorry, hope I'm not asking too many ): 1.) Are there any differences/additional things added to the movie novelization like there are with the 1-3 novelizations? 2.) Does Cybil die in the novelization of Sh 1?

It's not that it's short, it just crams a lot into each chapter. Each book is around 200 pages long. And it's far from leaving anything out. If anything, it expands on quite a few things. Now that I've looked at it, I'm not all that sure I want to translate the movie novel. Turns out it was originally written in English, then translated into Japanese so translating it back into English would make me feel a bit silly

And I don't mind the questions at all!

Yeah, I remember you saying that. Sorry, I was tired when I wrote my reply earlier. And wow, 200 pages, that's definitely a good amount then. And I'm glad it doesn't. And I figured it did. As for the movie novel, that makes sense. I thought it was odd for the novel to be in Japanese when the writer had an American name. And I can see how that would make you feel a bit silly, and how there wouldn't be much of a point in doing it then. Although, is there an English version of the Movie novel? Because if there isn't it might still be worth translating, unless there isn't anything changed or added like with the SH 1-3 novels.

And I'm glad you don't. ^^ Especially since I want to ask a couple more questions. Don't worry though, I think these will be it. But here they are:

1.) Are there any other SH novelizations aside from 1-3 and the Movie?
2.) Do you know anything about the writer of the SH 1-3 novels? Because I was curious if he was anyone involved with the making of the first four games, or if he was just a random light novel writer or something, lol.

Not to my knowledge. I've looked everywhere and I have yet to find any novels beyond those 4.

And just going by what's listed on his wikipedia page, Sadamu Yamashita was not involved in the creation of any of the games. He's written a bunch of other novels and quite a few of them are adaptations too so I'd say your second guess is most likely correct.

Oh he has a Wikipedia page? XD Weird, I tried to look him up on it yesterday but nothing came up for some reason. But thank you for that.
