The movie is set during the Spanish Inquisition in 1492. All Assassin and Templar characters were for the movie. Set between AC 2 and Brotherhood. Ezio went to Spain in that time. But it not known if Ezio and Aguilar de Nerha did met or not.

Not just inside the pyramid, but in the area surrounding the pyramids and the Nile river. Ancient Egypt, Feudal Japan, Sumerians, Babylonians, are my favorite time periods. Β

Ubisoft needs to a AC game set in Feudal Japan. Possibly 1868 because that is the same year of Syndicates' setting. Sumerian or Babylonian because no video games or any TV show or movie have settings in those cultures that I know of. Β Both are much older than the setting of Origins 48 BCE.

Ubisoft said Japan is the second most requested place fan make for series. They also said there are too many sterotypes attatched to that place and too many games and movies have taken place there. And players would not know what is real and what sterotyped. but that is what they said about Egypt. They kept that game hidden for four years. So I think that they maybe making it because they have done every major event and empire in the frachise except Japan.
