is there an ulterior significance to the unicursal hexagram? i have only seen it in connection with crowley. i read once that he had a slight obsession with unicursal shapes. probably why he chose it as the symbol for AA.

i never use wiki for any research ....ever! i try to take very little for granted, i just haven't done a whole lot of looking into on sex magick. uninterested. bioelectricity is far more intriguing. i've been studying the various belief systems since i was very young, and always use a physical published reference so that research can be verified through the proper channels. i guess it's just a force of habit since the internet wasn't really around when my research began. not that i believe those physical published things either, cuz it's all just perception.

Ok, that's your choice. Mine is to simplify matters as much as possible, so if i find some things on the wiki, i use them just to get a heads-up about that subject. I didn't say use it for research, cause it's user edited, most of the times that user is more in the dark than you are, you - never even heard of the subject. So as for research and hard facts, i go to the library as well. Don't believe everything that i find written once in one source/book. But if i find something written 3-4-5-6 times in 3-4-5-6 different sources it's a whole other story. So, for short, use the wiki, but research their claims in books, if they seem impossible.

i just don't trust the wiki users enough i guess. also along with multiple text sources i like to add the most current source i can find. some old stuff that was written down is often wrong, even though it was put to print multiple times in various publications. i find that sometimes new research has been done since the mass culture made their choice on what to believe. anyways, happy researching.-bel-

I agree. Don't trust them either, not on everything, anyway. It is often productive, for a thorough investigation, or research, to take it from the oldest source to the newest and note the progress, if any. Thank you! You have fun researching too! Nice talking to you. Bye!
