He was getting pretty old... and balding... and couldn't use his back legs right for a while. =/ I'd get another rat, but with a baby I wouldn't be able to give a new pet the attention they need. For now I'll just look through all your pretty pets

It's not weird nor random at all given how I basically stuck my neck out there in the HP role-playing community here on dA by commissioning such an amazing artist to do a piece of my OC. Though Adrian Pucey was mentioned in the books once, nothing was ever said about him other than the fact that he had been on the Slytherin Quidditch Team. ^^ I'm actually surprised you've been the only one so far to come talk about their own OCs in the 'verse!

Hahaha, yeah, he was for a Roleplay on a friend's site. I'm not really a huge fan or anything... I actually haven't heard of Adrian Pucey, (I stopped reading around the fifth book and I've seen a couple of the movies.) I thought it would be weird if you had an original OC named Adrian lol. Aiden's cousin's last name is Cowen or something. I don't remember, haha. After hearing your comment, I'm a little surprised as well. :]

If you go here , you'll find "Pucey, Adrian" towards the bottom (as the names are in alphabetical order, of course). He was on the Slytherin Quidditch team during Harry's first year (as a Chaser), and again in the fifth book, so he is at least one maybe two years older than the trio.

Cowen, that's an interesting last name. Though I had no say over Adrian's last name, I did pick the middle name of Clement. The meaning behind that name is in stark contrast to his character as well as the meaning behind his first name, which can more often than not mean 'dark' as it is usually assumed to be derived from the word Hadrianus. :]

Sounds like you've given him a lot more character than what he would have originally had, just being a side character.

Yeah... I've forgotten what Cowen means, but Aiden means "little fire", which sort of suits the character and doesn't at the same time.

Never a bad thing, rereading a book series you enjoyed. C: And I have tried to flesh him out 110%, yes. He's been in my head since the first book, and around '03-'04 was finally put online in RP games and such. Though I never was given a real chance to let him shine so to speak until early late '05 to early '06. After that, it became expected; The main character I've always done is Draco but once more people saw the real Adrian, I would be invited to join a game with both. I suppose if I ever were to do RP games again, it would be a case of 'they come as a packaged deal or nothing'. x]

You should look Cowen up and see where the name derives from!

That is so true. I've been meaning to, but now I actually have a reason. I think you did a pretty good job, though, it sounds like. It's actually pretty cool to see someone take one of the side characters from a book and flesh them out like that. :] I haven't seen that before.

Thank you, :] Suggestion, you could always try wearing them out with some good playtime first. Or! Sometimes I'll use a dab of something like vanilla or what have you on the 'rop' or area I want to photograph them on/in, so their initial attention is drawn to something in the exact spot I need them in!

True, they were based off guardian dog-demons that were half-tiger half-dog, but srsly, Arcanine... and Growlithe is described as the puppy pokemon...
