I have tried Ubuntu once.. pretty good. But I could not make the wacom function.

As for Linux, it's come a long way. The new release of Ubuntu (9.10) is very good and my Wacom works really well. The biggest issue is no native Photoshop - you have to run it in Wine, and then only CS2. Gimp is good (and getting better), but it's not Photoshop.
