My LORD. Lemme just break down my day at wire right quick. All is normal. I have my makeup on freak, as per usual. I'm 5 minutes early, as usual. Β I clock in 2 minutes early, after filling up my water, putting on my hat, and putting my purse in the back room. My co worker, C, as well call him here, is making sandwiches. Doesn't say a WORD when I 3walk in, despite the fact were required to welcome people. So after clocking on, I ring people up, asking to upsize drinks and add cookies and chips and what not because of the sale were having, making us minimal profit. I, as per usual, am using my "customer voice" which is much sweeter and more melodic than my usual one. Just a snipit of one of my conversations, WITHA CUSTOMER mind you.
Me- Would you like to make that drink a large for only 20 more cents, sir?Β
C- Ugh.
Man- Sure, sweetheart. (people calling me that isn't abnormal, I have a baby face and live in a small town. I've learned to like it.)
Me- Wonderful! And a cookie, you're looking quite thin. (he's a usual customer on mondays after his shift at an auto body shop across the way)
C- UGH.
Man- *huckles* I will have one, now that I think about it. A... Hm, a raspberry cheesecake.
Me- Perfect! *gets cookie* Your total after your discount is *price*
C- Ugh.Β
Me- *takes cash and makes change* Here you go sir, your change and your recent! Dont forget theres a coupon an a survey for a free cookie!
C- God, ugh.
Man- *leaves about a $2 tip*
Me- Thank you so much sir! Are you sure you want to leave such a big tip?
MAn- You earned it! Always so polite! Bye, sweetheart. See you next monday! *leaves*
C- Ugh!
And then he leads me alone, with a five customer line, none of his work done, and takes all the tips WITH OUT SAYING A SINGLE WORD TO ME. I have to stay 45 minutes late, which is against the rules, do ALL the dishes, serve 5 people, and ring them up on my own. And I'm just trying to smile because I'm trying to look on the bright side. Come to shove, I couldn't find one and I didn't get my tip, which SUCKS cause I work really really hard for it! Not to mention I'm paid minimum wage. And EVERY TIME I work with him he does the same thing. And is ALWAYS grumpy! Um, I have anxiety and depression and I come into work giggling and happy and making jokes! His ASSHOLE self can stand to say PLEASE AND THANK YOU one!Β
