BTW-earlier today I got my first gun! A CZ 452 Scout .22 rifle. It's light and compact, and has everything I wanted. I've shot a few different .22s as well as other guns in general before, but I wanted my own!

Good Choice. I don`t think you can go wrong with a CZ rifle in general. the CZ 452 is a good starter .22. Technically it is a "youth rifle", but it is still solid.

Yeah-I was actually hoping to get a 513 Basic (452 simplified, according to the website), however when the 1st store didn't have any CZs with iron sights, I called another a bit farther away and asked if they had any CZ .22s w/ iron sights, detachable magazine, and scope mount, and they said they just got a 452 Scout. The Scout is indeed more of a youth rifle, however for an older person like me, I'll call it a "carbine." ;) (Wink)
