Thank you especially for faving "Wishes Bewitching the Bells", I really loved that one when I wrote it and it never got much attention...I kind of hate all my poetry now, but it's nice to look back at that one~

Boasting was never really my thing, when you have your head halfway down the throat of a gator it's best to stay 'hush-hush' else it's your hide on the line

Great wooden chests by the way I have been in a skilled trade/handyman position for the better part of the last decade. I seldom do woodwork projects but when I do I love to share them, I recently completed (sans paint) a makeshift wooden succulent stand I'd love for you to check it out!!.. Where did you learn to do fine carpentry?

I always wanted to work with wood. Β My love for ancient objects and artifacts pushed me in the direction of making antique / medieval furniture especially treasure chests, because I cannot afford real antiques. Β I decided to do my own reproductions straight from my imagination. Β I collect old wood, no plans or drawings, I just look at pictures for inspiration (off the net) then I collect and match the wood, and just put it all together. Β Some of my methods are very unprofessional, but the end result (dare I say) is better than what I see on offer in the shops for many thousand of dollars. Β There are two shops in Sydney that sell imported furniture (counterfeit period) from Asia. Β Real flimsy stuff and very expensive. Β I only wish I had an outlet for displaying my work for sale. Β I have no woodwork training of any kind, just intuition and a desire to do.

That's great!! Yea I was trained formally from a carpenters local (union) and usually when I do pieces I like to go by plans but I did this most recent one on a whim (though I did have some prior inspiration [I found plans for it lying in a notebook]). The piece (succulent stand) is acceptable visually but by no means anything a professional would make. I'm going to browse more of your treasure chests please by all means take a look at some of my woodwork!!

You know I ran into a bounty working at an office supply store. Cross and Parker pens, discarded tablets, video cards, i phone cases.. The store had overstocked them so I was issued an ultimatum to liquidate the whole lot. Needless to say I was not going to throw away all that loot it was just wasteful. So I took them home, gave my grandmother the tablet (and loaded it up with word games, heh), I sold/gave away most of the Cross & Parker pens excluding a group of about 25 which I've kept as my personal collection! (Ballpoint,Gel,Fountain!!) They are great pens that retail about 42-95 dollars a piece. Other than that I still have a few brand new Cross pens still in the box which are duplicates. We live so close, maybe we could meet up and I could give you one? I promise you it will stimulate your creative juices and i hope more than that! Perhaps some star gazing is in order? Β Β
