Yes, they're very social animals
They'd spend time with us every day. They would always come downstairs to play with us in the evenings and share my dinner - lol.

Well, I'd set aside part of my dinner every day for them and that would be a treat.
They loved vegetables, meat, fish and definitely pasta.
At Christmas they got their own roast dinner
Every now and then they'd get something sweet like yoghurt, but not often. Made them a little hyper!

I gave mine a lot of veggies and almonds, they freaking loved almonds!! and those little yogurt treats, like the ones that looked like chocolate chips

Ours loved nuts too, especially walnuts because they could file their teeth on the shell while getting into them. Well, except Padme who figured out if she rolled it to a corner and bit down at the flat end it would split open easily.
Yes, they used to love the mixed berry yoghurt treats too!
We had one of those racks of storage boxes that you use for screws and nails and each box was filled with different types of treats.
Not that they were spoiled or anything.....

Oh, i do the same thing with my ferrets now XD i even have them on a permanent order online, treats just show up at my house now, lol I thought about having rats again, but ferrets are SUPER high maintenance and take a lot of time and effort to maintain, so i just dont know if it would be fair, you know?Β Β

Yes, we had a 'favourites' order with a pet company here and every quarter it would just send it again.
Anything else I'd get from the local pet store as required.
My sister had a ferret called Rascal. He was high maintenance too but he got on fine with her other pets, especially the dog.
Maybe rats are something to think about for the future

Maybe if we get a bigger house sometime, so they can be in another room.. lol our whole house is 5 rooms..including the basement and bathroom

We sort of have our costuming gear in 3 places.
We have two large storage trunks in the garage with all the armour parts, the centre wardrobe in my study with all the cloth stuff and some of the weaponry / props and the rest in my wife's office.
Kind of need a house with about 15 rooms - lol.

Yeah, i was working 7 day work weeks for awhile and that was....eh.. i was alive. But this, knowing every week is going to be 8 hour days and 6 days on 1 day off... i really hope to surviveΒ

Well, we both look like we're about to start the harder round of working life but I'm sure we'll survive.
In 2004/5 I was working on a healthcare team and often doing 15 day stints before being generously given one day off. Never again!
Back to full time work + study + college is going to be tough but it's only until next November and then I can pass the exam and move on.
Art will have to take a break but I still need something to do in my lunch breaks - lol.
Look at it this way, maybe this will lead on to something better in the future
