No but I can see why you said Metallica because of field of crosses. I looked them up after you mentioned them.
I haven't created anything that has directly influenced my work but their are a few album covers I'd like to re-created.

It's a post-apocalyptical universe created by a Russian writer, Dmitry Glukhovsky. In 2013 the nuclear war destroyed the world. Survivorz from Moscow hid in the metro. 20 years later we got whole societies and quasi-countries, with the most notable: The Fourth Reich (Russian Nazis), The Red Line (communists), Hansa (USA in 1900-1960's in Russia) and Polis (the heart of the metro and propably the last bastion of real intelectualists).
