RANT! Overall "Originality" is a bogus topic to have to rate on here. Artists (not all, but a lot) usually do whatever subject or go into any field they like and are skilled at, and then do it again and again while trying to get better at it to achieve their goals and vision. They develop a style that is their own (a combination of personal preference, self taught technique, and learning from other's past works), get a following of admirers because of that, and for the most part never really ever do anything too spontaneous, drastic, or different (and I can't blame them at all! I do the same). You can't force a person to change overnight, the essence of their art comes from that (who they are), so unless if they were spontaneous and experimental to begin with, why would you expect every piece of art to be noticeably different. Also their is the risk of running into alienating your fan base if you try anything too out there or unexpected with your work + There is only so much you can do in a given field or category, once you start making harsh changes or adding too many new things, you wind up in another category or with something new (so you wouldn't be rating for that normal past category anymore)
