Dude, I totally have your twin brother in my Intro to Animation class, and it's creeping me out.
Only differences is that he wears more than black, does his homework, and is actually a bigger dork.
Other than that it's like your evil clone... if he starts chewing plastic in class I'm going to freak out.

Still working on yours. I've gotta get wolf anatomy down, and it's been an interesting journey so far. Reference has been a bigger help than I had thought, heh. I want to really get an understanding of it, so I can draw them better in the future. Hopefully, that means your piece will be something totally new/different out of me, something that happens pretty rarely.
It's been a busy last few days, so I have little in the way of a final product, but I expect that after this weekend's craziness with what seems to be future in-laws (not the awful kind), I'll have something (hopefully something final) done before next Thursday.
Thanks for giving me a great excuse to get busy.
Catch ya' later!

Hellow!
Woah, very neat drawing style you got here, I really liked them!
Colouring and human details, everything is full of details, and I admire that a lot, it remembers my style too...
Keep up the great work!

Oh, no problem at all! Glad to know someone's keeping an eye on me, despite my vicious and cruel lack of updates.
I just haven't done a lot of work I'd consider "finished" lately. A few sketches, but nothing colored or inked. When I get Photoshop, and my camera working, I think I'll wind up doing more.
Enjoy the show (or lack thereof right now)!

Just a question: do you happen to be an anime/manga hater?
I'm not trying to provocate you or something I'm just curious ^^

I don't hate AnimΓ©, in and of itself. I've seen and enjoyed many different animΓ©, and own a few. I have great respect for AnimΓ©. Thing is, I see many of the American artists doing *nothing but* AnimΓ©, and practicing drawing from AnimΓ© instead of from real-life. π: 0 β©: 0
The bottom line is that there are thousands of aspiring artists in Japan looking to draw AnimΓ© for a living, and who do you think the companies that do AnimΓ© are going to hire? Someone that grew up in Japan, and has training in art, that understands the culture and references that go into AnimΓ©, and is (as unfortunate as it may be to consider as relevant) of the Japanese race, or a cocky American "animΓ© artist" who's copied Manga in their sketchbook, and has no idea *why* things are drawn as they are? It's like American Idol. Many people apply, the field is small, and most people that aren't very good, won't admit it.
Every respectable art teacher I've ever talked to at any art school I've visited has said that it's not a realistic dream. That it's a fun hobby, but not a good way to be taken seriously in the art field, in terms of getting a job.
So no, I don't "hate AnimΓ©". I really don't. I just dislike the sheer amount of it overtaking the Western culture revolving around animation/comic books, and the soon-to-be-shattered dreams of so many potential artists out there, who are getting a bad start.
I don't "hate" much of anything, and I don't *hate* people that draw AnimΓ©. I'm concerned for their future. The art field is hard enough to get into without copying stuff, or trying for such a narrow path in the business. Look at how much competition there is. Just check out the Deviantart Page. Sure, some of them are crap, some are good, and some is stolen and reposted. Still, it's a *big* field. Be unique.

No problem at all. It's a piece that commands attention with its intensity, like a lot of portraits and paintings of big cats do. I couldn't help but consider it quality enough to favorite. Plus, I love the Predator.

Just thought I'd mention to anyone that actually checks this thing, but doesn't personally know me:
Most of the work that I've posted has been whatever I had already on the computer. I have yet to scan in some of my better work, and so I expect a large update to be in the future. I appreciate any who visit, browse my stuff, leave comments, what have you, but know that there is a lot more on the way, so stop in periodically and check it out.
