By the way, if you enjoy erotic/romantic novels, you can have a look at my gallery and if you like it enough, add me to your watch list.
I am posting parts of an erotic novel I am writting and, soon enough, will be giving the whole book out to my watchers for free

Ahh yes, Finances, the bane of human existence. I wonder if there might be a solution that could work where others would pay for you two to cultivate your creativity with their wallet? Comicon May be a good place to explore this inquiry. Video Game vendors may be another avenue. If you could take your work and sell it to someone designing a game that holds the same themes. I think it is great you guys are so versatile with your work. You mention somewhere in your profile that you draw, comics included, I wonder if you could market that work to Tattoo artists/ Clients? And lastly, it is well known that sex sells. there is always the lingerie industry, You and your husband have proven that you have a knack in that area as well. Just some suggestions if you were looking. Either way, I wish you both the best!

LAFModel In reply to RogueWolf33 [2014-07-19 21:24:34 +0000 UTC]

Thank you!  Yeah, it's really all about connections and finding people interested in paying me or giving me stuff in exchange for work.  I have done some collaborations where I received clothing, but no actual money yet.  Hopefully that's coming next!  And yes, hopefully Comic-con is the first step there.  If this one goes well, I'll most likely plan for more cons and try to become more well-known and get work that way.

And yes, sex always does sell.  I still feel like I have yet to meet the right contacts, though.  I live in Montana at the moment, so it's a bit remote...lots of factors involved.  But with our setup, we can really shoot for anyone anytime and send them prints or digital proofs, so I'm not sure being remote even factors in anymore.. hahaha.

RogueWolf33 In reply to LAFModel [2014-07-21 21:53:08 +0000 UTC]

Montana?! Did you grow up there? Comicon will be great exposure for you two. I would think that the best areas to obtain the best contacts would be New york Or cali somewhere. Not that I am an expert. However, you guys find yourselves smack in the middle in Montana. The internet must be an awesome tool though even if you guys are a little estranged from more convenient areas to make good connections. Are there still a lot of American Indians around there? I love that culture. I am sure that would be some great inspiration!

I grew up in a small town here in Pennsylvania, I know all about feeling disconnected from the rest of the world. I have upgraded currently to a more rural area and am much happier here. Of course I work in Information Technology so High Demand is found more around City areas.

My boss's son is going to Comicon, it was kind of funny because I joked with him a bit about the fact that we work on computers and such and our office is right across the street from a comic book store and he has never stepped foot in it. So I asked him what her name was LOL

I think it would be awesome to go sometime, I dont know that I am that kind of secure person that could really "Doll" myself up and go out there even if there were others that did. And then I am sure I would find myself feeling like a fish out of water for not going a little over the top.

I have a game, How about you pose with as many dark haired bearded gentlemen as you can at comicon, I will review the pictures and let you know if you found my boss's son!
Anyhow, I hope you all have a great time.

Holy crap am I late getting to this... lol

Comic con went alright.  Going with my comic team, we ended up in the small press pavilion, which was kind of out of the way, but we still managed to spread the word about the comic to a ton of people.

It was really fun but super tiring.  You're standing for hours and hours and you don't really want to eat because the food there is pricy and you get bored of the food you bring.  It's chaos!  So many people....definitely worth it, though.

Thank you for the well wishes!  And sorry again for the delay..been winding down pretty heavily from SDCC and now I have a friend coming in from out of town...neverending.  XD

RogueWolf33 In reply to LAFModel [2014-08-09 06:04:22 +0000 UTC]

I had pretty much assumed that you guys had been instantly swept away once everyone realized how talented you were. so in the mean time I had graduated 3 times, had children, my children had children and have retired. (im joking of course! )

I am so glad to hear you guys had such a nice time! Funny story, My boss's son went and had to stand outside because a friend had told him he could buy tickets at the door, however, there were none. He said it was a pretty awesome event though.

That is so weird about trips isnt it? I mean, you can stop, get snacks and all this food that you KNOW you would like and be happy on any other ordinary day but for some reason you put food stands around and all of a sudden nothing you have is any good anymore. "I dont want to eat this stupid filet minion, I want a taco dammit!"

Once you are rested, (no rush of course) you should tell me more about it! people you met, opportunities? im very happy for you all!

A friend from out of town? old friend? that should be exciting! I imagine you will be tied up with all the catching up on rest and such you have to do. Although, if you do have time, hit me up. I do enjoy our little chit-chats.

Take care and rest well.

LAFModel In reply to RogueWolf33 [2014-08-16 17:38:15 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, you can't buy tickets aside from online unless you scalp them, as far as I know.  Still a lot of cool stuff to see outside the con, too, though!

We might have some opportunities comic-wise.  I hope to find out more soon!!  The con was chaos.  We met a ton of people (I did post a lot of candid photos from the con on my FB page)

My friend is a friend I have known online for some time but never met.  We had a blast!  She needed a break from home and I think we provided her with a good one.

NOW I really need a nap.

RogueWolf33 In reply to LAFModel [2014-08-20 05:10:09 +0000 UTC]

Yea I do not know where he got the idea he would be able to get tickets at the show. He seems to excel at just trusting things to "Just work out" instead of doing the best he can to be sure his ducks are in a row. It makes him an easy guy to get along with socially but to work with is just a nightmare.

Unfortunately I am probably a part of the 10% of Americans that have sworn off facebook. I have had family burn me in the past with posting unsavory stuff for everyone to see so I have decided not to allow myself to be put in that position again. Its hard enough to accept mistakes you make without feeling like the world is judging you. Anonymity makes things alot easier at least until you trust someone. Couple that with the inevitability of virus's, spamming and now the Messaging app for cell phones being able to document all that you type and spam your contacts with links that appear to be from you just makes me feel like Facebook will soon be not long for this world. Hopefully something new and better will come out that has a grip on social media but a little less commercialism and a little more structure. That is just my two cents on that.

That was so sweet of you guys to invite your friend for a vacation! I dont know if you ever mentioned but I imagine Montana having American Indian Influences. (please excuse my lack of geographical prowess) Is that true? Was your friend from another area? were you able to culturalize her and expose her to the little nooks and crannies the locals have hidden in your neck of the woods? I know I take for granted the stuff around me. I meet people from the area that rave about the state parks and such but to me, if you have seen one set of woods, you have seen most of them. You know what I enjoy? I remember taking a trip to California once and rode a Greyhound bus there and back. Going through Arazona and Nevada, the deserts were so gorgeous. On my way back from California coming home, I remember I hit around Las Vegas Nevada just as the sun was rising. We stopped for breakfast and I remember I was going through my whole Praga Kahn phase, So it made me think of that song Breakfast in vegas. I also got to see the mountains and the redish colored deserts. It was truly something I was amazed with. That and the ocean would have to be my two favorite places so far. I would like to visit Florida and spend time off the ocean there. Maybe do some deep sea fishing. Where would you say is the best place you have visited?

I hope you have rested well.

Talk to you soon!
