Thank you, glad you like the gallery. ^_^ So you like dragons huh? Well, maybe you will like the dragon picture that I drew about 2 weeks ago. I haven't posted it on here yet but maybe I will keep it a surprise till August. My best dragon yet. Haven't decided if I will color it. Gonna try to do more dragons this year before August.

Yup, I loove dragons~ One semester at PUC, I was in a storyboarding class, and everything I did for that class involved dragons, haha XD it was fun~ I can't wait to see it I just got some canvas awhile back and have a sketch of a dragon on one of them I wanna paint up, once I find time...and paint XD I mainly do digital work cause it's easier and not messy..XD what kinda of things are you thinking of having up in AA?

Hiya. So sorry for late response >.<
I had a creative writing class in High School that also including drawing which was very fun. I did a comic strip of Dante and Virgil from Devil May Cry about flying a kite and omg was it funny. Also did a children's book in the class with all werewolves. I've taken painting classes and it can be fun.. but i just do NOT have the patience for it on my own time at home. It's like I have to be in a classroom in order to truly paint something cause then I am taking my time. At home I rush through it and mess up and its sloppy. At home- crappy. In classroom- beautiful. XD I do hope you get a chance to work on your dragon painting because I would love to see it. At the moment I am still trying to work on the registration part to get into AA since bills, rent, gas, school, and such is hard on the money. Hoping there are still openings for artists cause the money is coming within a week or two. I'm afraid to ask him to hold me a spot which I know won't happen because its a business and first come first serve dealy. lol. BUT! I would be bringing werewolves, wolves, dragons, gryphons, werecats, and such of pictures. I tried looking into button press machines but omg expensive.

LOL! That's okay, I probably wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said anything. I have a LOT of convos going on..XD Oooh, that's cool I remember my creative writing class in highschool, haha. Made me fall in love with writing~ That sounds cool X3 LOL! I have no patience for paint, either..but, since my mother got me the canvas, I feel I should use it XD Oh man, yeah, it can be hard to pay all the bills. I lucked out with some new things I needed, since I work for a print shop. My boss let me print my banner for my AA table (finally after like 6 years of AA getting one) and just subtract it from my paycheck next week. He also gave me a really really good deal on it Well, a lot of the time with AA, most cons give you a couple weeks to pay for it. I WOULD suggest at least putting interest in and see if you can get on a "wait list" or something until you have. Lol, I know! I totally want my own button machine! Now that I've got Komiko doing AA with me, and I know Ranefea does it, I may see if the two of them want to go in on one with me. It basically pays back the cost of it in one con (so I've been told), but I don't usually have that much money to drop at one time

Hmm, print shop.. Maybe you could tell me about banners? I want to get one made but not sure on how to go at it. Like how to get one together. Don't know what I want on it and where to go, you know? Any tips or advice? Thats a good a idea about the button machine. If I get in, I'll first see how my art does and then wait til next year on the button machine. I was trying to thing of a way to rig one up but not sure. lol.

Well, for the banner, um, I designed it myself, but basically, for general advice, you want it to include your name/studio name/pen name, whatever you are most recognized by (or intending to be most recognized for). You also want to stay with a stable color scheme, and have your table match it, too. It's good to have some samples of your work, like an art or something, but you don't want it to take over your name either. and from a designer's pov, it needs to be aesthetic and eye-catching at the same time, while not becoming gaudy. Be careful about your color choice, especially if you're using a full color image or graphic to represent your work. I'd recommend definitely designing it yourself, or at least someone who knows you or your art well. You don't want to pay a lot of money.

I'd recommend getting your banner printed through a place online, since it tends to be cheaper, though if you're okay with it being a bit higher priced, you can always get it printed through my work at CR Publications in Hammond, which allows you to give me like specific directions (where you want the grommets even XD ). But there are some decent sites that let you make banners. The thickness will be less (we do them as 14-15 oz at work, usually it's 10-13oz), but they do usually offer grommets, though you don't get to decide where they go, lol. It doesn't bother most people. I had mine set up a specific way so I can change the size of it.

Lol, I'm tempted to make up some buttons at work XD like go buy the stuff for them, and just use the maker we have at work, haha.

How are you hanging your banner? And which direction? horizontal, vertical? I know people do it different. And heres an odd question i guess. I'm not sure if I want to be recognized by the name SamuraiDevil but I will have my name on a banner if I make one. I know i have to have it somewhere so people from DA and friends can find me. How does samuraidevil have to do with wolves and other fantasy art? O.o lol. i know this is weird. lol. its been bugging me.

Well, that's why I have grommets, to make it "hangable." I'll be using these round clasps and hooking them to my rack, or if need be, just tying it to it. I hang it horizontal~ i actually had it on the front of my table last con, lol XD Well, you don't HAVE to go by your DA name. My DA name happened to be the name I'm known by, but my banner has "Sanzaki Kojika" on it, not just Kojika. You usually want to think of a studio or artist name, but using your real name IS fine for that, too. It just all depends. think about what you wanna get stuck with XD
