pff. people are over-sensitive about their work. I'd never criticise artwork, but bad wallpapers are inexcusable. you should know the basics of design if you're posting stuff, really. just the basics are all that's needed. don't blame me for pointing out faults, when you're the ones making them. feel free to criticise my work, if you really feel like you owe it to me. .. whatever.

I don't feel like I owe it to you at all. I understand your viewpoint, too. The wallpaper that I did that you....rather badly put down...I know it was a design nightmare. It was requested like that by a friend. I didn't really think about it like that until you...ah...pointed it out to me. I made a mistake, and your viewpoints I must admit make me feel bad about it, but I'll also admit that it woke me up a little. You have a unique way of telling people about their faults though...a little rude, but effective.

o _o` I don't think anyone owes anything to me. the first wallpaper I submitted to DA was crap, and the rest, along with that one have been deleted since then, so I don't intend to submit anymore wallpapers with copyrighted art. I figure if -I'm- smart enough not to violate the policies of a site, most folk are. so forgive me if I seem harsh, but y'all should know better by now.

ah, I think I justified it to myself, at least, by having a big ol' (c) SOnic Team/Sega both on my comments, and on the wallpaper itself. but, as all of my wallpapers have thus been deleted, it's sort of pointless either way, isn't it.

I guess it is. The argument I always heard against that though was that even if you put that copyright information on it, there's always a thing at the bottom that says (c) and your name. Therefore, it's saying the work is all yours. :/ I can understand though. Normally on other sites I suppose it wouldn't be as bad, because you aren't making a profit off of it and therefore aren't really going to get in trouble, but that's why it's bad on DA. I know you don't really care, you've already had your stuff deleted and it's over...eh...I'm sorry that happened.

Lol, as a former victim of his, I actually have to say he taught me something. I hadn't read the DA policy before and I did go back and read it. I was new here. >.> I didn't appreciate what he said, but the use of copyrighted stuff is wrong... :/ I would correct him on a few things, but I know he wouldn't listen to me. Look, I stopped by and read all the nasty stuff you've said to other people. I suppose you're entitled to your own opinions about stupidity, but remember that everyone else has feelings too, and you seem to put down some of us pretty badly. About the copyright thing, it really is true that some of your works are against the deviantART policies. It doesn't matter if you claim it for your own, they still could delete it anyway. If you want to make your Sonic wallpapers, which are good pieces other than the fact that they're against policy, then you should get your own or another website to post them on. I don't even expect this to change you, not one little bit. I just wanted you to sort of think about it. And I'm sorry that I flooded your user page. If you ever fix up that attitude, good luck here on deviantART. If you don't fix it, then a lot of people here are going to hate you, very much. And like Keo said, some people here really are super tense about their art. Good luck in the future, because the way things are going now, I think you're going to need it. :/

okay, a couple things.
the first:
the worst run I ever did was going after Darkchid, which I've already profusely apologised for. in a journal post, I apologised to pretty much everyone I said ansty shit about, sans Jenishi-Kumiko, becuase some people just rub you the wrong way no matter how nice you try to be.
the second:
it's not so much copyright infringement I get snappy at, because as you said more than once, all my work ("work"
it's more people either using art without giving -credit- to the creators (if you look real close at any of my wallpapers, you'll see a copyright message - not much, but it's there..)
especially if they make it seem like their own work.
the third:
yeah, you're right. that first wallpaper I submitted -was- ugly as all hell. I was sorta proud of it when I first put it out, but it's really a design nightmare. I appreciate you telling me something I thought myself.
the other:
I guess I could stop being snide and pissy and compliment every single artist that knows how to use Paint, but I'm not like that. at least if I'm wrong, I'll apologise for it. otherwise, I usually get pissed off for well-justified reasons.
