This video took a lot out of me so I am not doing an art piece to advertise it on this website.and so here is the explanation of it.
FLCL (Fooly Cooly, Furi Kuri) had to have been one of the craziest animes I have ever seen.When it came to doing an amv for it, there was two choices:First you got the in-your-face wierdness of the series that was it's trademark.and second, you got the backbone of the story which is a coming- of -age tale about a pre-adolescent kid in which extraordinary things happen to him.Being that I hate people and know how most of them are shallow and want the answers and messages delivered to them on a platinum plate by servants in togas, I went with what the series threw at you the most: the insanity.SOAD does it best (and it seems that others did the same thing...poorly.)I had been throwing around ides in my head about songs that fit this series for a long time now, and had some really solid ideas for doing an emotionally charged video for that coming-of-age theme.But I figured that people would respond a bit better to the obvious, but the other theme was also pretty strong as well.And so....I did both.With the bigger theme as the video , and the other theme done as a seperate music video as the credits..I felt that I covered the two themes pretty well, and made it distiguished from the other amv's..simply because it had substance.(not saying that all amv's suck, but most of them do, especially the other FLCL amvs that mine got thrown in with)
So in short,the video was the insult, and the credits was the apology.but then I said ' t'hell with it ' and threw something random in it as well.

The FLCL was by far the hardest to make....considering I was making it up as I went I was dreading the last 20 seconds of the song...My fav part was the credits anyways.
I was a bunch of songs I was gonna use for the Akira one, but I went with a band who rocks major ass but doesn't get the recognition:Godhead....btw, that album is fantastic you gotta download it.It's called 'Evolver' .....when you get the chance watch all of the other FLCL amv's that are associated with my video....none of them are any good...half-assed pieces of crap..and people are like all "OMFG.....THAT WAS SOOOOO AWE-SUMM!!" and then I'm like 'Blow Me.' anyways, thanks for the comments, I'll have the next one up in about a week and a half.

some people adjust to light and dark in different ways..I have trouble seeing when staring at a '67 white monitor and then have to look down because my wireless keyboard fell off my goddamn lap for the millionth time this week.Besides, I got better things to do than go through everyone of my messages (which is about 40+ a day) to make sure that the message is shiny and squeaky freakin' clean.I just focus on getting my message across..and in the end that all that counts.ISN'T IT?Besides, not all of us are so insecure that we have to spell check every little thing to avoid some embarrassment.Score.
