Ah, yes, idk what happened, but I just started watching sports animes and Free! and Kuroko no basket just took over my life for like a year and a half...

Now I have a much heathier relationship with the swim boys 
I even managed to take the six posters I have of them off my walls...

Still sleep with my free! Blanket tho...

Aw, that's how my friend was
She was adopted into a Mormon family, and her mom was a crazy, evil, hateful woman, so when she was around we'd just talk about "shows" and never say the word anime or any Japanese names ._.

But I kinda understand parents not wanting their kids to watch anime because there are a lot of morally unsound animes out there
But not all of them are like that
So I'm just really careful about what I watch now
Because I've learned
There are a lot of bad animes...

My dad found one that I was watching (I wasn't very far into the season yet, so I hadn't seen it yet) But there was, quite the scene with the main character and a tentacle monster. And now I am not allowed to watch it. My dad calls it "child porn" >.> and refuses to even look at my drawings without criticizing.....

Oh, she's doing much better now because her mom kicked her out of the house once she turned 18, so she doesn't have to deal with that haggard old witch anymore...

I've been watching a Gundam anime called iron blooded orphans (highly recommend btw), and on Hulu it's says it's for mature audiences only and I know it's just because there's a lot of violence and the occasional female in their underwear, but I always freak out when the characters are with their love interests cause I dunno what could go down

And my mom decided she was gonna start watching it right at the scene where the woman who doesnt wear a lot of clothes starts aggressively making out with her husband for what seemed like all eternity

It was very hard to watch 
Especially with my mom there
And not because they were making out, but because I was afraid that might lead to other things...

XD My mom doesn't mind hetalia so much, and she is okay-ish AOT/SNK (only because of my immense obsession with wanting to cosplay soooooo bad). But I think my dad will kick me out of the house if I watch it again... *cough*Ihavecrunchyrollonmytv*cough*


the worse scene my parents ever walked in on, was the month after I was banned from anime
In the anime 'Soul eater; the episode where death the Kid comes in. His weapons (who transform into human entities) got caught in a mummy demons bandage. and there breast were seized along with there bums. and my mother happened to walk in at that exact moment.... ofc she told my dad. He pulled the tv out of my room (yeah.... in my room.) and grounded me from internet, and tv for the rest of the year (3 months).

now my mom is more nonchalant with it, she wont let me watch it, but if she sees it on my screen (pictures, manga, ect) she will lean down and say  "don't let your daddy see that" and walk away. luckily my dad works nights, and is in his room in the day XD

See, that's why I usually just watch slice of life animes or whatever cause those are like the tamest ones out there

Plus, I can't deal with a lot of gore
Like watching Wolf's rain made me wanna barf
And even with iron blooded orphans, the don't really show people getting mangled, they just show the blood for the most part

And I never watch supernatural stuff, so that rules out like 90% of all anime ever if you combine that with the "child porn"

yeah, so far the best anime with the least.... 'anything'. Is hetalia, My mom thinks it's cute. My dad is convinced that I just love world history XD

and Black Butler - I am sure you've heard of it? - Is murder mystery with a supernatural twist, my mom said it's like a supernatural and Sherlock crossover XDDD - my dad hates it tho.

And then he went and started watching one of the movies and he thought it was dumb and then he never watched the actual anime ._.
