8:43 P.M.
*In a sleepy Northern town, the normal quiet of an abandoned storage complex the blare of music pulsed and flowed from the rust-lined sheds. Within the clusters of dilapidated storage warehouses, underground concerts were being held as all manner of night crawlers sampled the tunes of the evening. Hard Rock, polka, alternative, alternative-alternative, the acts of the evening varied in skill and genre though all were having the greatest time in each other’s company, as one individual stood slightly apart from the crowd. Just outside the building blasting electronic music stood a skunk, psyching herself up to enter into the festivities*

(Alright; I'm PUMPLED TO GO)
Among the crowd, stood four figures, all just having a great time, with one being a bit of an oddball amongst the crowd. Well, they were all oddballs compared to eachother, but who was counting?
"I'm glad you were able to come tonight, man!" a familiar(toourstories) Black wolf said, smiling at an old friend of his.
"It HAS been too long, hasn't it?" A glowy-faced, blue furred Carbon-fiber paneled "Sai"borg said, smiling back.
"57 days, 38 minutes, and 52 seconds, to be exact," another individual responded, this time, a robotic black and red humanoid responded, a slight smirk on his face.
Sai had come tonight for a few reasons; one, it really had been a long time since he HAd visited his Friends; Sentiant, KIFT, and Amethyst, and this was good timing, as it would turn out! He LOVED music festivals, and he needed this; enough time in the Whitespace can make one go a bit stir crazy.

*Out in the twilight glow, Cheryll fretted over her outfit: a spray-painted toxic love t-shirt , accompanied by a jean jacket and pants. With excitement and anxiety swelling with each crescendo of the music, and the thumping bass matching the skunk’s rapid heartbeat, she nervously ran a handpaw over the threadwork on the jacket as she decided whether to step in, or head out. Sighing in resignation, Cheryll pulled out her phone to text her friends somewhere among the raving masses, as she made her way into the makeshift concert hall. For the most part, she successfully weaved through the crowd without making a head-on collision as she texted. It was inevitable however, that inattentiveness would catch up with her, as within minutes, her forehead bumped into the back of a synthetic organism, snapping her focus from the phone upwards to make a startled apology to Sai and the gang, shoving her phone into a pocket, her puffball of a tail curling and uncurling nervously.*
Cheryll: A-Ah! I’m so sorry I really need to watch where-
*Upon a brief glimpse at the trio, her gaze lingered upon the more mechanical duo, her expression of embarrassment melting into one of intrigued nerdiness*
Cheryll:…O-oh wow! great gear, guys, really feeling the electronic vibe coming from you ! are those led’s for your eyes? What materials did you use to make the mask-?

Kift didn't even seem to notice that she had bumped into him until she spot up, turning around, his projected "target" on his Visor focusing on her as he gave a nod at her initial apology, then beginning to answer on his own.
"Well, technically it is my fa-"
Sentiant smacked KIFT's leg discreetly, catching his attention and stopping him midsentence.
"-I mean... yes, Leds and small motors," KIFT quickly corrected.
"We made them ourselves," Sai chuckled, his screen switching to a big ole' proud smile as he stood there.
Amethyst herself hadn't quite noticed what was going, she off at one of the Vendors, as Sentiant decided to watch for now, just giving a warm smile if she looked at him.

*Glancing between K.I.F.T. and Sai’s expressive monitors, the inquisitive skunk narrowed her eyes, inspecting both for said signs of mechanisms, as the gears in her own head were turning, undoubtedly taking mental notes, undoubtedly for a future project of her own*
Cheryll; motors? jeez, that’s some real dedication! You mean a makeshift battery motor, or a pre-made model? and where do you conceal it? That’s a clean-looking build too, Maybe I should get some pointers on my-
*as if then realizing she was in a concert her stubby ears perked up to take a listen to the next artist at the stage, interrupting her previous conversation with a gasp and an outburst of nerdiness*
AAH! THESE GUYS! Saw them on Viewtube, didn’t know they’d be here tonight! Sorry for bothering you!
*finding it a risky venture to look for her friends in the now-jamming crowd, Cheryll instead remained relatively close, hopping and dancing to the waves of electronic synth that blasted through the crowds. After a half hour of the musical euphoria, the artists ended their last song, and after a flourish, left the stage for the next to take their place. It was in this rotation of artists that the young skunk’s face fell once more, remembering her previous anxiety, as now she didn’t have an excuse to not follow through with her prior plan.*

While the rest of the group was enjoying the music, watching the artists on stage, Sai couldn't help but watch the skunk for a bit...
Is she here on her own...? He wondered, thinking about it for a bit... it never felt right to him to leave someone excluded....
Making up his mind, the protogen made his way towards her, ending up by her side.
"Hey.. uh," He began, rubbing the back of his head, "You aren't here on your own, are you?" Sai kept focused on her, his expression currently inquisitive, his height, upon close inspection, putting him just 5 inches taller than her.

*lost in the thought of conflicting decisions, Cheryll hardly noticed the approach of the protogen in the buzz of the crowd until Sai had spoken up alongside her, his voice catching her off guard. Swallowing down her anxiety, she met Sai’s face-monitor with a friendly smile*
Cheryll O-oh! Hi again! Actually, I was planning on meeting some friends here, but… the thing is, um…
*she motioned towards the front-end of the shed occupied by the tightest cluster of attendees milling about. As she spoke up once again, the faintest trace of a stammer betraying her otherwise cheerful response*
Cheryll: They’re up front there, but I don’t know if-if I should even bother I mean, I’m sure they’re doing just fine up there, and…

Sai rubbed the back of his head slightly, giving a nod... he hesitated for a moment, before smiling and motioning back to his own group of friends.
"How about you come hang out with us? You seem pretty cool, and i'm sure they'd be more than happy to have you join us."

Rico: *minding his own business, most likely eating a box of donuts (like the fat bean he is) *

Pho grunts as he hits the incline of the cliff, arrows and bolts of magical energy raining around him, but none of his pursuants followed him down as he rolled and tumbled into the woods below, unaware of a certain creature who just happened to be eating there.

Pho grunted as he got up from the ground, looking up towards the top of cliff, and proceeding to make obscene gestures at those up the cliff.
Through the trees, the cloaked human was JUST visible to Rico.

The figure was definitely human, judging by its height and stature.
Pho made a few more gestures as he looked to the top of the cliff, before leaning over, still unaware of Rico.

Pho was still completely unaware of Rico, for the moment. The bat could easily launch himself at the human if he felt like it.
