While I appreciate the initiative, I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable giving somebody else free reign in terms of writing stories about her and don't exactly have the time to supervise it either, therefore I'll have to refuse :c

Here's the yet incomplete story: (i recommend hearing this song while reading, i feel it fits relly well to Katya: youtu.be/w42CTq5QZtI ) 

Basically there is a new leader in Stalliongrad that most of its citizens dont agree with, but most of them have no other option but to accept it. However there are other ponies that decide to go against the new leader, considering him as traitor to the nation, they release some battles between the government and them, called the "rebels". Katya is against the new leader too, but she beleives that going against the city is tearson to her nation, so she prefers to stay at the side of the government, even if she doesnt agree with it.

The mane 6 are called by the map to help, they are received by Katya when entering the frontier. While traveling to the city (in a transpot Katyusha truck), they get attacked by rebels and Katya gets injured by enemy fire. When they all arrive to a safer place, Katya refuses to receive medical attention (to mantain her wings hidden), but the injury is bad enough to kill her if she doesn't get attention, so she has no option but to accept. 
The mane 6 are surprised by finding out that she is an alicorn, but are ordered by Katya not to tell anyone.

The next day, Katya explains the mane 6 what she thinks about the government and they consider her as the perfect leader for the nation (mostly by her way to think rather than just by being an alicorn), although she refuses. They decide to make a mission to unite Stalliongrad's habitants and the rebels to take down the leader.

Once they convinced the rebels and some civilians, they decide to launch the attack against a military base to capture some weapons and tanks to have superiority against the leader's security in his building. While attacking, it is ordered to launch a squadron of Pe-8 bombers to destroy the rebels*. The few unicorns capable of making a shield to protect everyone from the bomb raid are not enough, Katya is not considering surrender at all, but she starts loosing everypony's determination to continue, she explains everyone what she said to the mane 6 earlier and leaves everyone amazed, making them to join back together and fight the bombers.

After surviving the bomb raid, they head to the leader's building, capturing him and taking him down. All of Stalliongrad is thankfull to Katya and they all want her as their new leader.

Like Twilight becoming a princess, Katya is not really sure if she is ready for it, Twilight explains to her what she felt and convinces Katya. There is a ceremony and a parade and the mane 6 leave. Katya is the leader for the next years to come, although she never reveals being an alicorn.



*What i consider is that because of the cold weather, ponies need thick clothes, adding weight to her body, plus the weight of the weapons makes even the strongest pegasi to get exhausted quickly, so they decide to make machines capable of carrying weaponry and fly long distances, they build planes.

Thats the basic story, i have imagined some scenes as if it was an animation, but that's quite complex already. Hope you liked it.

By the way: i also want to make some art of her but still ask if its ok to do it (do i need to ask you for permission to do it?)

Sure, I don't see anything wrong with a bit of fan art. I appreciate you wanting to ^^

The story itself... I have to admit, I don't particularly enjoy interaction with canon characters and try to keep the character separate from them. The idea has its issues, but is actually pretty solid.

I'd probably have some gripes with her alicorn status being revealed and nothing coming out of it. I genuinely doubt the main cast would keep it secret just because they were asked to or if Katya would eagerly accept the position of the new leader. She doesn't see herself as one, being reserved and antisocial aren't quite good traits for this position and she knows it, finding herself comfortable being someone else's subordinate, not quite able to inspire others, unless in a rare and sudden outburst. Likely a newly chosen leader's right hand mare would make more sense from a character standpoint and even that would come after some reassuring. Don't think any amount of convincing would make her accept a leader's position, unless she was under a ton of peer pressure.

I'm not too certain about the appearance of military vehicles and such a drastic scenario fitting entirely into the MLP theme as well, but with adjustments and some extra polish this could certainly work as Katya's introduction into the canon. Haha, if only c':

Thanks for the comment, i really appreciate it, i must say its yet a very sketchy story yet, just started imagining it about a week ago, but has grown rapidly. If you are more comfortable without a story being made, i will respect that. 

Although i'll very likely make some art with her, i really liked her (love alicorns and russian bias, Katya has bothe of them so... )))))
