It's great that you're back. A lot of my DA friends have disappeared over the years without warning. It's quite upsetting, but I hope all is well with them.

A lot has happened during the 5 years you were gone. I finished college and got my Bachelor's in Computer Animation & Interactive Media last year. Ever since then I have been working on my portfolio. That is going poorly to say the least.

In the meantime, I'm just doing some illustrations/characters designs for a small mobile game company. There is no pay until the game ships so that is unfortunate.

I did get a lot better at drawing so that is something positive. lol

How's your 3D work coming along? Do you have a website or anything? I would love to see some work from you.

By the way, let's continue this conversation via notes.

Art..they don't have too many artistic majors. So just BA in Art, mainly drawing. Hopefully I can get a web design minor too.

:] Cools. And while you go there, you can definitely explore with lots of other subjects as well. Aside from drawing and web designing, what other forms of art do you like doing?

Animation is definitely for me. I'm already halfway through to getting my degree; it'd be horrible if I didn't like it and still pursued it to this point.

haha, I'm the one with the late reply...that's what happens when you go to the Philippines for 10 days and you have no internet >>;

I pretty much test the waters in all kinds of art but mainly I draw, and sometimes web design. I am a martial artist as well, I bet that counts ;]

I'm glad you enjoy animation. Sadly, I know people who are more than half way through the degree and they hate it :/

haha, yea, definitely martial arts count as an art form. :]

:/ I feel pretty bad for anyone who doesn't enjoy the degree they're pursuing. It definitely won't feel great trying to get a job in that field, and working in that field for the rest of their life.
