as per your question about the borders on my prints...

you don't cut out the negative itself. basically, if you're using a cardboard negative CARRIER, that's what you cut. all it takes is a LITTLE bit of trimming the opening with an exacto knife. just a tiny bit though, because too much and you'll end up seeing ALL of the sprocket holes and even parts of the negatives on either side of the one your printing. common sense.

it's easy to do. the longer you use that negative carrier, the more 'used' the edges will look. there are a lot of different things that you can do though to give yourself interesting edges. you can (if you have extra negative carriers) take a file to the sides of the opening.. which will give you a REALLY rough border. it's trial and error basically, but i'm a sucker for borders so...

comments are hard to come by. my advice to you is to go out and comment on other people's stuff...they will then, sometimes, come and return the favor. i'd recomend commenting on stuff in the same field as what you're doing. this usually helps, just to get your name out there.
