Its kinda complicated right now but its about this island named Eddas and its upcoming civil war, its had many civil wars but this one will be tremendous and terrifying. Ive been working on society, economics, and mythology for the island

Thanks, the people can be split into three groups, the noble, leading prestigious families and inter family marriages... the Gypsys, lively village like people who hold festivals but are not known to be welcoming to outsiders (seriously even their kids act like shits to outsiders) and last was the cursed, often intergrating with gypsies because people pity them.
The wars are usually started by children and teenagers actually, they overstep the boundaries or think they can attack one of the other group and the adults usually blow it out of proportion.
The people are influenced incredibly by the island itself, in their world there are these celestial beings they call Giants, essentially they are are godlike and when they die, their bodies become giant forms of land. The Giant of Eddas was angry and war-like and her personality translated into the inhabitance, the animals and people have low patience and often lash out at the smallest thing.

Dia is no longer an oc, I killed her off; she is dead.
Ink is now an adult, she shares an apartment with her roomate Denali (ill tell ya later)) she is successfully scamming people over the internet and on the side talking and consulting with gods. She has also developed a fear of the dark; so shes been stealing a lot of lightbulbs.
Denali is new, kinda a version of Eve that ive been working on, Denali is the innocently ignorant type who is somewhat weary of Ink but doesn't really care and is too wrapped up in their own world ((preferred pronouns: they, them)) and is really genderfluid.

So they're in the modern world! Ink sounds like a very interesting character (realistic too) Does she ever get in trouble with cops? Β Also how did Ink and Denali meet, they should very different from each other! And how will you be changing Cynic's design? (I really like the old too btw! I'm sure the new one will be 10x greater)

Ink actually has Denali for that very reason, she had put out flyers for people to come check out her apartment and see if they wanted to share rent. Denali is someone of descent to vampires and gargoyles so they have some pretty insane powers like hypnotizing and shape shifting, Ink of course knew that, shes become kind of the internet stalker to get what she wants.
Denali being part Vampire needs a mainsourse of blood but their mother had passed away before she could teach them how to pproperly hunt so their kind of at a loss.
But then suddenly heres Ink convincing Denali to "at least check out the damn place" and when they do Ink gives them that main sourse and in return Denali has to keep the cops off her back so she can keep providing that sustance.
Denali knows something is very wrong with most of what Ink does when she isn't on her computerbut Ink gives Denali this faulse sense of security and treats them with respect and encouragment kind of mothers Denali to a sense which gives Denali every reason to turn a blind eye.
That is their basic relationship, Ink is really manipulative and Denali is really naive.
Im still working on his but I think ill change his eyes into just yellow instead of purple and yellow. Im just gonna keep a few things, try some different stuff but all in all im going to be drawing him in my current style.

It was like he kept getting into fights and arguments with them. He was going through a lot of shit with puberty and just starting to develop his beserker instincts so he was pissed half the time and the other half confused because he really didn't understand what was going on and one day someone pushed him too far and he went ffucking beserk on them. The police labelled it a freak bear accident because of all marks and such because a scrawny, bruised kid like Cynic couldn't have possible done it himself.
In the au I was thinking to have Ink seen the whole thing and kind have that lee way to blackmail Cynic into protecting her if she was to ever need it ((which isn't ever really gonna work, Cynic doesn't put up with Ink's bullshit))
Also in the au the people know about supernatural occurances but they tend to just ignore it.

Yeah ink is a shitty little puppet master, i didnt mean to make her like that but it just kinda fits for her, the fairy girl now works at a bar and is transgendered, his birth name was Delilah but now goes by as Domen, his character changed alot kinda silent but rather kind and has somewhat of a budding romance with Denali.
